Help me find something to go over my favourite dress please- pic included

Not the best photo but hope you'll get the gist of it- is a dark shimmery blue, almost French navy.

I'll be wearing it in October to DDs wedding, with silver sparkly low heeled sandals. I tend to wear either cropped/bolero or hip length cardies and soft jackets as I have fairly big boobs, a high waist and no bum- dress is ruched at the back which helps. Was thinking perhaps a silver grey something but not seen anything right yet. Any suggestions gratefully received!

Think I've discounted the fur idea as too bulky getdressed.

Not had something made for me like that before but it was well worth it, just need to not put any weight on as there's no extra room!

Wedding is mid afternoon. Likely to be quite dressy, that's just the way it is so my frock won't be too OTT.

The jacket I saw was cream and a 'flat' finish so would be too daytime for your dress which has some shimmer. Velvet or lace could be very good. Will look...

You need a jacket with a peplum. Google. Just saw a few that will be perfect but cannot cut and paste. Will finish you perfectly.

I think a bolero will be to boxy. The look will be imbalanced.

TBH you may need to wait until the shops get some of the autumn stock in for what you need

Thanks for all your efforts @OlennasWimple, not quite there yet. I really love the shape of the teal jacket, the colour isn't close or contrast enough sadly but I wonder if they'll do other colours later in the season...

this is quite plain amazingly glam. Not so good with silver, I fear. The cut of the dress it's made for is very, very similar to yours from what I can make out.

Ooh thanks, those are a better shape. Sod's law the silver one has sold out in a 12. Might order the 10 and 14 and try my luck.

Not so keen on the wider capes, I don't have the hips to balance them sadly!
