Cure for crunchy swimming hair?

Not for me but for my son. He swims four times a week and his hair has gone stiff with - I assume - chlorine. He uses the Boots swimming shampoo which obviously doesn't work!

I wondered if there is a solution? Any tips to sort his hair out and stop it getting crispy again?

Hey, make sure you wash it the same night, put a very small amount of conditioner on the tips, rinse then comb while still wet x

Tomato ketchup .....so I've been told. Rub it on hair once a month, leave for 10-15 mins and the wash as normal. Not tried it myself yet but My daughter has started synchronised swimming and it was recommended it to us. Going to try it tomorrow.

Wet hair before pool..So hair is saturated a bit with clean water
Put in Leave in hair mask.
Gentle shampoo and rince afterwards
Leave in conditioner.

Kind of helps..

I swim almost every day, and combined with colouring my hair..it's not good..bought this recently (it's half price just now, £1.70 ish) and it leaves my poor over exposed hair lovely and soft..would give it a go..they do shampoo and normal conditioner too, also half price.

I put coconut oil on my hair before swimming to protect it.
