I don't want a slinky sexy thing that might qualify as "lingerie", but neither should it make me look like Mrs Brown - does a dressing gown middle-ground exist?

It should not be pale, as it was evil morning coffee stains that did for the last dressing gown. And I am tall, so it needs to be a decent length to avoid inadvertent exposure when bending.

Has anyone seen anything nice?

I get cotton kimonos from the Japanese Company. They are comfortable, practical and look great. They're not cheap at £75 a go, but how often are you going to buy one? Mine is washable and can go in the tumble dryer too, unlike the gorgeous Toast ones which are often dry clean only.
