Good blusher for 50 yr old

I still have the MAC blusher I bought at 35, but it doesn't seem to "work" anymore (doesn't transmit onto the brush). I'm looking for a new one, but what works well for older skins? Should I avoid blusher with those sparkly particles? I'm willing to pay up to Chanel prices. All recommendations gratefully received!
PS my skin's not bad i think, I've been using daily sun protection for at least 2 decades.

I'm 49, with light olive skin. Pink blusher looks odd on me, because I have no pink in my colouring, but Benefit Rockateur really suits me - it's rose gold with a very slight shimmer. I've just ordered this one as I saw it recommended online as indistinguishable from Rockateur, but half the price.

OP if you want foundation try Dior Star. Not too heavy- medium coverage- contains light reflecting stuff but not sparkly.
I'm older than you (but no wrinkles) and love it.

Other options are Bobbi Brown foundations and blusher.

Go to their counter for a make over maybe?

bobbi brown cream blush with a foundation brush from superdrug

But ask them which shade to buy - they always recommend brighter than I would choose and it works

DONT JUST BUY SLUDGE ROSE COLOUR

What about Iced Lotus by Clinique. They're powders but very light and you literally only need the lightest touch.

I tried out the GOSH Luminese Blushers (on my hand/wrist which I know is slightly different to my skin) there was absolutely no colour Shock

There were two shades, one slightly more corally.
Both just left a shine. I don't need shine , I get hot flushes and natural 'glow'.
