Apologies to those of a sensitive disposition!

This is a very close picture of my forehead! Those of you with experience of Botox, would it sort out the vertical line between my eyes?

I always look cross!

NotYoda, why for my wedding day? Surely that should be obvious. Because there will be loads of photos taken all day (some close up) and I don't want to look like I am frowning in them. You clearly have some issues around the Botox subject so maybe this isn't the thread for you?

bibbitybobbityyhat · 03/04/2017 15:44

And it's rather click-baity, which I have no time for.

NotYoda · 03/04/2017 15:44

Yes. I mentioned that.

muttrat · 03/04/2017 15:48

Oh God. Op, you could have mentioned that were about 25.

The only thing hideous about that pic is my realisation that you would be repulsed by my 51 year old forehead

muttrat · 03/04/2017 15:49

And it's rather sad you are considering botox for that Sad

PollyPerky · 03/04/2017 15:49

You need to let an expert decide. If you go to a good cosmetic dr (not a hairdresser or a 'beautician' they will use their experience to tell you what you need.

No one online can decide.

I'm sorry there are some silly replies here. This is S&B not AIBU FGS!

Specialagentblond · 03/04/2017 15:50

I'm trained in administering Botox and half of the cause of that line is the activity of the muscle, which still can have resting muscle tone, and a now permanent crease in the skin from the action of the muscle on the skin.

I would advise that both will soften it but not eliminate it.

The crease may relax to a stage where you may find it acceptable.

Go and have a consultation. You would require one area only (glabellar).

ILikeyourHairyHands · 03/04/2017 15:51

Another one with Bibbity, get a grip woman! You have a perfectly lovely forehead.

NotYoda · 03/04/2017 15:58

Women! Stop Moving!

rightknockered · 03/04/2017 16:03

I'm pretty sure I have two of those lines.
The crow's feet and the rest of my expression lines possibly distract me from noticing

ChocolateButton15 · 03/04/2017 16:07

I have a small amount of botox once a year for a line like that and it does get rid of it. I'm slightly under 30. If it bothers you, get it done.

rightknockered · 03/04/2017 16:14

I had a small line or two when I was 30. A friend had the same lines as me and got bottomed. We are no in our 40's and have the same lines and I have never botoxed.
I don't get it myself

ChocolateButton15 · 03/04/2017 16:19

Rightknockered botox won't get rid of the lines completely. It's just a temporary fix to improve the appearance and you need to keep up with it and have it about 2-3 times a year to keep the effects.

rightknockered · 03/04/2017 16:22

I've read on here a few times, that the point of Botox is to stop 'over use' of muscles and so prevent lines from forming.
I have never seen that result in anyone. Most people I have known that have Botox, just gradually move on to more invasive procedures

stonecircle · 03/04/2017 16:25

I've got one of those lines too - I hadn't realised until I just looked in the mirror. It's a bit deeper and off centre. I would post a pic, but I don't want to give you all nightmares Wink

faustina · 03/04/2017 17:36

botox to stop it happening again, and a bit of filler to fill out the line that's already there. I had both done and it works (it made me look cross even when I wasn't which was annoying)

Browtox · 03/04/2017 17:39

Yes - the vertical line is what I went for first - disappears WONDERFULLY

Browtox · 03/04/2017 17:40

I didn't need filler and had it way older than you

jamie2 · 03/04/2017 17:41

Im olderthan you (a lot) and have had botox for the frown line but filler is more effective for me. A good cosmetic surgeon will advise which would be most effective for you. It's true that these procedures can be addictive but if you can afford it, why not. You would surprised how many women have these non surgical procedures

BlueChairs · 03/04/2017 18:17

I'm 21 and have a wrinkle this deep ...

WaitrosePigeon · 03/04/2017 18:19

Yes, Botox will sort that.

Olinguito · 03/04/2017 18:25

It looks fine to me, but if it bothers you how about cuttting a fringe? Much cheaper and less invasive!

'Style & Beauty'

Not 'Debates on Modern Feminism'.

Clue is in the name. Duh!

NotYoda · 03/04/2017 22:17

Women! Shut Up! And Stop Moving!

bibbitybobbityyhat · 03/04/2017 22:19

Duh! Feminists can be interested in Style & Beauty too.
