Really REALLY comfy bra hunt

Please help me! I had my baby nearly 8 months ago and from the moment I got pregnant I have found almost all bras uncomfortable. I hoped it was just a pregnancy thing but no.

I now can't abide underwiring and all the wireless bras I have, despite being more comfortable than wired, still seem to rub around the underarm area.

I have tried on so many bras that I feel like I'm going insane. The latest was Wonderbra's wire-free bra and despite being quite a nice fit had slightly rough material on the band which I could tell would start to rub.

I'm looking for a t-shirt style bra that's slightly padded but most importantly is made of incredibly soft fabric and wire-free. I'm hoping someone out there has experienced a similar sudden aversion to the brassiere and can recommend something!

Yours,
Reluctant Bra Burner

Sainsbury's do a number of soft comfort bras.

Since having DCs, the only bras that give me comfort and good shape are those from Triumph. I know it's a bit of an old fashioned brand but there are some really nice styles (alongside the old lady stuffWink) and they never let me down. I try other brands from time to time but keep coming back to Triumph

Following. Also can't stand underwires anymore but am 34 F/G so its really hard to find anything.

After years of uncomfortable bras, I now have several of these Charnos Everyday Bras. It is underworld, but I find it very comfy. They also do a non-wired version non wired Charnos bra, although I have never tried it.

Have you been to a proper lingerie store to be fitted. That makes a huge difference!

Primark!! For 5 quid they have a new none wired lightly padded bra. I bought one yesterday and it's like my boobs are wearing a cloud.
Not the Bralett Lacey kind, it's a tshirt kind. I'm goi back today to buy 3 more

I like this wire-free one from DKNY:

I had Triumph bras post-baby too! They were very comfortable.

These from Asda are incredibly comfy. They have in other colours too, white or grey. Cheap as well!

Thank you so much for all the suggestions everyone, I'm going to get ordering and hopefully one of them will do the job!

I will report back with my progress! To the ladies who recommended Triumph, is there a particular model you would suggest?

Thank you!

Not any particular model for me, but I will order 2 or 3 at a time online from House of Fraser or Debenhams, so that I can choose one from that. Never had any problem with returning ones I don't need.

Whatthefoxgoingon · 17/03/2017 22:52

I need a bra in 34H for my mum, to wear after surgery. No wires. Any suggestions?

Cakescakescakes · 18/03/2017 08:09

The m and s sumptuously soft ones are fantastic. So comfy.

Mermaidinthesea · 18/03/2017 08:13

Triumph Doreen, I wear them secretly.
If I was ever taken to A&E in an ambulance I'd be cutting it off on the way and throwing it out the window so as not to be caught wearing it but by God it's comfy.
I will wear one forever - except on dates Grin
