Off to Morocco - what to wear!

I need help! I am off to Morocco for a week next week, with work. Daytimes will be work wear (think conference), evenings will be relaxed but smart dinners/parties.

For info: I'm 28, size 8/10, 5' 8", slim and fit but with a tendency to pear-shape.

I'm throwing myself at your mercy and asking you to dress me!

We went for our honeymoon two years ago - last week Feb/First week of March. We were in Marrakech and it was fairly warm during the day, I got away with t-shirts (though covered up a bit) I covered up when we went out to dinner though. I would wear long trousers or skirts and keep the tops of your arms covered. A suit in a lightweight wool would work. And a cardi for dinner! Err on the side of conservative though...

What is the temperature in the evenings? I imagine it is warming up but not balmy? I think if evenings are smart, you will need smart dresses with a cashmere cardigan or decent wrap. There are loads of high street brands with such offerings, eg Hobbs, Whistles, Damsel in a Dress, etc. I also think a shirt style dress with the waist definied by a belt looks chic and not too dressy. If it was more casual I would say palazzo/wide pants and a silk T shirt style top. This look can always be smart with the addition of decent jewellery. Go for brighter colours so it is definitely not workwear.

I alsothink Massimo Dutti have some useful Jump suits and Zara has a good choice of dresses. I had a quick look at Jigsaw and they seemed a bit boring, unfortunately, but their tops were better.

Thank you! It will be high 20s in the daytime, and low teens in the evenings.

I think it is the combination of not wanting to wear things that are too fitted as it will be warm, but then also wearing things that are not revealing, I don't want to end up looking like I'm wearing a sack as it inevitably makes my bottom half look bigger!

I'm liking the suggestions so far, I do have a couple of long skirts I could take for daytime, and a couple of dresses that cover my shoulders. Need to hunt out some more suitable tops I think/cover ups.
