Hi, what does everyone think of the hush new season? I've ordered a few bits to try, a couple of their basic raglan l/s tops, the dungarees (not sure!) and the lightening bolt dress and shirt, just wondered if anyone else had had a look yet? Smile

Dungarees indeed! lovely for the super hot summer coming.

Love the Tees look with them too.

Bourg can I please ask what the calypso colour really is? Is it the Hush name for fuchsia pink?

Forgot to say that I eventually settled for both star slub Tees. I would have liked them to have no slits at the sides and a round neckline as I am a bit of a fussy mare, but never mind.

For those that like star print - check out the Espirit website - lots of star patterns going on for a lot less money and Espirit always good quality imo. Will try a couple of links but am hopeless at it so here goes..http://m.esprit.co.uk/womenswear/jumpers-cardigans/fine-knit-jumper/fine-knit-jumper-with-star-intarsia-996CC1I906_680?referrer=default

I quite fancy the boyfriend jeans but at 5ft 4.5inches I wonder if they would be ridiculously long on me. Has anyone got them?

Balkan I love the slub tees, I am not great at white though, or keep white white iyswim?!

I've just ordered a few extra bits, the marble jersey tee, but that's expensive for a tee, so it will have to be perfect.

In addition, blue slub tee, cyrystal wrap bracelet and monaco trousers which get great reviews.

Jenny I am only 5ft, I've tried jeans and joggers from Hush before and they are way too long for me sadly.

I haven't got them, but according to their size guide they have a 76cm/30" inside leg - so appear to be cropped to start off with. So if you're planning to style with a turn up, it sounds like they should be fine.

I am 5ft 5 and i just roll them up to suit. They are not rolled up excessively. They should be fine :)

So all my hush purchases came. Denim skirt really nice, good fit. Unsure if I should keep though as have a few denim skirts. Two tees, cloud and heart grey v-neck are wonderful :)

HoHumming you could wear a vest top underneath, but would still show your knickers off to everyone. The black might work better (and cute with a white tee underneath as well) but I don't want another black dress as I have loads for the summer and was looking for something else. I was tempted to keep it to copy the pattern as I am quite handy with a sewing machine, but not tempted enough. But if you need enabling, it is a lovely shape and forgiving on pretty much any figure I think. i was worried it would make my hips look wide but it's fine.

My Sofia skirt and dandelion Raglan T came.. its really nice, like a thin sweat shirt ... I have reordered the T in a med though as it does come up big.. I ordered the L I am a 14/16 on top.. it looks as fine but think the M might look better with the skirt.

Anyway definately a keeperone or the other !
The Sofia Skirt is really lovely ..

You could wear a thin slip under it. A white one. It would be like having it lined.

I had a linen long dress from Hush that was very see through. I just bought a slip to wear under it. Think it was simply be. Worked a treat.

Right so my purchases arrived and I'm returning 5 of the 6 of them Blush
I'm keeping the Vivienne shirt, its fitted and probably not worth the money but it's the only shirt I've ever tried that I've liked on!
I'm returning the piper dress in a 12, I love it but it swamped me and I'm 5ft 7 and busty, may re order in black in a 10 as the white is see through and I can't justify the price. Returning the Evangeline dress, love the top 1/2 but the bottom half is huge! Love the dungarees but too much fabric at the top, I cannot get them to sit right which is a shame as I loved the look of them. I am also returning the two sweat tops, dandelion was the wrong shade of yellow on me which is again a shame as I love the colour! The ombré blue is beautiful but there was something about the arms I didn't like and for the price I couldn't say it looked any better than a H&M one so it's going back. I'm going to keep looking and see if there is anything else instead! Hope this helps someone Smile

Oh and the T really is a dandelion yellow! Its a colour I never thought to wear until a few years ago ( when i started bleaching my hair and had it cut pixie style).. I am very pale skinned also but somehow its a colour that seems to really suit me.. )
( The Sofia skirt is black and white striped BTW in case youve not seen it.. its lovely! )..

I do find Hush sizing a bit large. I have last year's Etoile tshirt in an S but could've even gone down to an XS. And I'm a 5'9 size 10-12 so hardly a waif!

Thanks for all the reviews everyone. I've ordered the boyfriend jeans but haven't got them yet. I expect it will be next week at this stage. I wish Hush was a bit cheaper. They are style over substance really.

@Laska5772 I'm also bleached hair and fair skin but I just couldn't make it work, I may try the blue instead, I love those tops they are so easy to wear! I have the marina skirt from last season and I'd like something to wear with that

I could never wear that yellow. I cant imagine what colouring you would need to be to suit the yellow but it is a lovely sunny shade :)

Also the long sleeve linen Ts are great (they came today) but again , huge , I have re-orded those in a size smaller also ..

I got the yellow again , (I just love it!) and also the blue which is a fab colour...But I think that will have it for me from Hush for a while now !! (well it has to be this month anyway Wink )

What size did you order laska? I love the blue one but they dont look like they are worth the money. Are they a bit see through?
Has anyone tried the sloppy joe jumper? I was looking at the summer one. I am 12 mostly. Best to go for a small or medium? I cant decide by the reviews. not ordering just now, for future reference
How did people get on with the black star lacey top thing. It looks lovely.

OK, I'm ordering the Anemone Venice beach dress and the black Tara because I love my green one from last winter and it has withstood tons of washing. Will only keep one.

I'm not buying any jeans but very tempted because I love my Harleys from last season, best jeans I have ever owned. I'd say their jeans were pretty true to size.
