What do you wear to lounge around the house?

Just wondering what you all wear to lounge around at home.

Basically I grew up being trained to get changed out of my 'good' clothes as soon as I got home so they wouldn't get all crumpled and ruined.

I've got some old joggers and leggings and some old tops that I wear around the house now, but I was looking at the Hush joggers online thinking that would be an upgrade in my look - but knowing me I would still save them for best to stop them being ruined.

What are you all wearing at home- and do you make an effort there as well as when you're going out?

I just stay in whatever ive worn during the day.....i dont see the point in making any extra washing.

Leggings, fake uggs, long sleeved top, oversize jumper. I was also trained to get out of my good clothes as a child Grin

Jumper dress, leggings, thick wooly socks and long cardigans in the winter

Depends on my mood. If you have worn tights all day do you tend to keep them on in the evening?

Alicesmith85 · 14/02/2017 19:41

Leggings, oversized tees, chunky cardis, in summer, palazzo trousers fitted vest.

I've got a couple of cardiac that have seen better days!

Really should invest in decent lounge wear as I spend so much time at home x

Usually these: global.prana.com/mantra-pant.html?color=oatmeal in the dark grey with a vest, t-shirt or long sleeved base layer top and an old hoody. If it's late I'll put on pyjamas, I have a few pairs of checked bottoms and a vest or grandad style top, I bought these a few weeks ago: www.fatface.com/nightwear/classic-check-lounge-pants/invt/920606#ff_colour=Multi with a hoody or soft cardigan. Thick fluffy socks or old Uggs on my feet.

I wear the same as I was wearing anyway. I'll only get changed if it's something obviously unsuited - I'd stay in smart casual but change out of a suit into "normal" clothes, for example.

I also get into loungewear anytime I'm indoors! My usual is an old pair of Sweaty Betty seamless leggings, a uniqlo heat tech thermal top, and a hideous jumper with a tiger down one sleeve. Glam!

I like to waft about in a long cotton kaftan with no bra or my nightie with jammie bottoms underneath. I never wear proper clothes when I'm at home, as I don't like cooking or cleaning in them.

AnarchyKitty · 15/02/2017 06:47

One of the many pairs of black cotton trousers I bought in the Maldives many years ago for 75p and still going strong. Vest top, Cardigan, ugg primark boots. If the door went I'd look presentable. Depending on the cold right now I'd stick a thermal top on too.

This thread is making me feel so cosy. I'm a sahm so I wear comfy clothes anyway. Always bra off at home though, and what a relief that is.
