Will pay top end of my meagre budget so under £75. Really want them to be flattering but not too tight. Smart AND casual and fling in the machinable. Oh, and if they could turn my flabby 14/16 tummy into something less podgy, so much the better. Thanks you splendid people.

Those that have the GAP ones, what kind of shoes do you wear with them?

I know your talking trousers, but what about jeans. I have bought the best super skinny jeans in Mango, so bril I bought 2 pairs and at £38 per pair bril bargain, very very very flattering. The only problem was the male assistant, as they look very small, I bought a size 6, he said they would be too small, I was wearing men's jeans at the time of purchase. So cheeky, I told him off and complained to the cashier. Best jeans ever make me look so slim, I am 5 ft 3 and 10 stone 2

Bejazzled, excellent! I might look at the slims as well! I feel really dressed up in mine!

I tend to wear the Gap ones in summer with sneaker/superga types and in winter with an ankle boot that either sits just under the hem, or just over.
