Opinions on best options for scar coverage

I'm getting married this August in an off the shoulder dress and I have extensive scarring to my lower left arm inside and outside. I was wondering if anyone had any experience in attempting to cover scars with any of the creams/foundations that are out there? I'm not sure if they would look worse for being messed with.

Mac face and body foundation.. Lisa eldridge has recommended this for any body area that needs a bit of help.. Its a bigger bottle aswell so can easily do your arm. You will need to get swatched though and I think because of the formulation needs a bit of practice with application

Have a look here for some information and to find somewhere near you. Someone I know used the service for scars in the exact same area. It is excellent at covering the colour changes though some of the worse scars could still be seen as they are raised and bumpy but most people probably wouldn't notice. The staff were lovely and they do the colour matching and then she purchased the products online as they were cheaper. It's waterproof and can stay on for a couple of days so won't rub off and stain your dress. Hope you have a lovely day when it comes and feel fabulous

I have some very big scars on my left arm too and have had some advice on covering them. The best was using the MAC face and body foundation over a dab of concealer as it could go up my whole arm and not highlight them by covering each individually iyswim. Sally Hansen airbrush legs gives a bit of diffusion, though not full coverage.
In photos, you can't really see them though - even the huge one, and you might worry about rubbing anything off on your dress

Dermablend do a scar covering foundation. My concern would be wearing it with a white dress and having transference so would ensure my makeup artist on day (if you're having one) is competent in applying it for you?
