Definitely a bra, otherwise I'd trip up on them

itsmeNDP · 21/02/2007 14:46

I thought bras to bed was a Bad Idea ?

Or is that just underwired ones ?

MrsDaveSpoon · 21/02/2007 14:46

One of my friends had a sleepover recently and I had this debate. Ended up buying one of those PJ tops from M&S with the built in bra, although I had to buy a size bigger to get the norks in which defeated the purpose as the top had little uplift as the band part was now too big. So I then invested in a big dressing gown to cover up further but was roasting and had to take it off which was a bit embarrasing. All my lesser norked friends had bras on under their PJs and in the future that's the way I would go too.

TeeCee · 21/02/2007 14:47

I don't wear pj's to bed either but if staying at PIL's I would but I wouldn't get up, take top off, put a bra on and then put top back on again, how mad.

I'm 34 DD.

NotanOtter · 21/02/2007 14:47

wear underwired to bed

IntergalacticDave · 21/02/2007 14:48

me too TC, but I am a saggy 36F, so it's for the welfare of others in my case.

TeeCee · 21/02/2007 14:50

Your friends all wore bras under their PJ's

Chandra · 21/02/2007 14:50

It depends who is around... just females I trust, no bra. Male friends and women I don't know quite well, bra.

sassy · 21/02/2007 14:54

I don't wear a bra in bed, need pidgies though, can't sleep if I'm nekkid.
Oh and mine are famously mahoosive (adjusts 30J-ers back into cups..)

MrsDaveSpoon · 21/02/2007 14:55

Yes they were all very sensible. I don't know if they wore them in sleep in but we were singing and dancing in our PJs so a bra was the wise woman's choice.

CheesyFeet · 21/02/2007 15:08

I wear a bra in bed anyway, otherwise my norkage gets caught under my armpits .

Deffo wear a bra when going downstairs - no need to get dressed imho. But I feel very uncomfortable without one anyway

HEIFER · 21/02/2007 15:24

I have this dilema whenever we stay at BILs... I like to bum around in teeshirt/pj bottoms etc first thing in the morning, but have huge norks, so feel uncomfortable about it when staying over (especially with newphew (15) in the house - woudn't want him to think that all womans boobs touch their knees...

So I always put my bra on - OR if cold sometimes where a big baggie hoodie (although not sure I can see cod wearing pjs and baggie hoodie somehow!

So bra it is then...

nailpolish · 21/02/2007 15:30

i would wear a bra under pj's yes, i could have someones eye out if i dont

dressing gowns are hideous - i would never wear a dressing or slippers

FirstAtForty · 21/02/2007 16:02

Always felt a bit eeew re people shlepping around in the festering garments they have just slept in all night. Maybe I'm a bit uptight in the pj department tho'

My own nightgarments are unflattering and not terribly modest so would rather shoot myself than wear them whilst making polite chit chat with the IL's over tea and toast, bra or no bra.

if you're staying at someone else's house you probably have no choice but to get dressed at SOME point during the day, so why not just get it over with when you get up?

QuootiepieTheOnlyPie · 21/02/2007 16:04

I wear a bra under PJs round peoples houses, when people are here overnight and even hospital The joys, eh?

i am very sloppy normally, but cannot bear the thought of someones fil ogling my saggy norks. get dressed.

colditz · 21/02/2007 16:05

Or at least wear a bra

NuttyMuffins · 21/02/2007 16:07

Depends who it was, but with most people i'd get dressed first. With a few people I know i'd go bra less under pj's.

nailpolish · 21/02/2007 16:07

i dont wear pj's in bed

take them to IL's house, put them on when get up (with bra)

itsmeNDaveP · 21/02/2007 16:08

cod - you sweat considerably more in your sleep than you do during waking hours.

Do you all really not wear a bra in bed?, I never take mine off at night (well unless DH is getting lucky and even then it goes back on afterwards)

Getting dressed before breakfast WTF
