Soaking off acrylic nails

I'm using acetone, but it's taking a heck of a long time and it's not working very well.

What should I be doing?

Are you using acetone with cotton wool in foil OP?

Go back to the place who did them. Which system did they use?.

The acetone needs to be warm. Or in cotton wool with foil as per pp. You will find acrylic removal kit things in bigger Boots / Superdrugs.

My DD bought herself a nails kit (when I told her not to, they looked bloody awful, not a bit like the salon ones she had in the Summer. That's why, dear DD , you go to a salon to have them done not try and stick them on yourself. Its difficult enough painting with your weaker hand let alone doing acrylics)

As I didn't want her to knacker her nails though- acetone remover (I have the Sensationails stuff) warm in a pyrex bowl over hot water - it bubbles and stinks.
Soak, cotton pads, foil wrap , leave 15 minutes and they should soften enough to nudge with a wooden nail stick.
