Makeup lesson for teen dd, Any recommendations?

She's nearly 16 so thought this would be good for her birthday.

See Mac do them and then the money you've spent on the lesson you can get free makeup up to the value. Anyone done it, was it good? Any other counters worth considering?

Benefit do it too the Mac look is very striking imo

Bobby Brown do it too. You buy a voucher book the lesson and they have a variety of ones to choose from and then you can buy the products with the voucher.

Benefit as PP said, are good for the teenagers. I took DD to benefit when she was 14, they made it very natural looking for her.

Yes teen Dd has had a Benefit lesson as a present.she loved it.

Do benefit do the thing where you can get products to the value of the cost of the lesson?

I think Bobbi brown products would be too expensive, don't want her getting into their products just yet!

Benefit products are discounted against the lesson cost, yes. It's definitely a bit more wearable than the MAC look!

She did get a free gift wish I could remember the details was a couple of years ago my sister bought her it

BlueBlueSkies · 14/12/2016 18:38

I am not sure how Benefit run it.

We were shopping and I noticed that the Benefit counter was quiet so I took DD over and asked if they could show her how to do her eye make up. They were lovely and ended up doing a full make up lesson. I then bought some of the products for her. It was her 14th Birthday.

My dd did mac and really liked it

It wasn't too striking - they asked her what she wanted And she asked for natural (and contouring Hmm)

I was very impressed with dd's lesson at Bobbi Brown.

It was free & there was no pressure to buy.

PossumInAPearTree · 14/12/2016 18:47

I hadn't a free lesson at Bobbi brown and it was great. Agree no pressure but I still spent £50. Dd would want everything they used on her. Grin

I bought dd the tinted moisturiser there & then & later the blusher for her birthday. Everything else she colour matched cheaper versions elsewhere.

Natural and contouring makes no sense Grin least your Dd liked it judith
