Please specify age and gender. I'm a bit fed up with what's about at the moment, I prefer bright, clear colours and cotton where possible, I hate writing on clothes or silly pictures or anything glitzy.

DS (5 years)
Boden (plain and stripy tops, hoodies)
John Lewis (coats and trousers)
Sainsbury's (trousers, pants, socks)
Shoes (local independent shop and John Lewis)
M&S (trousers, socks, pants, PJs, dressing gown)
Gap (jumpers)

DD (4 years)
JoJo Maman Bebe (dresses and leggings)
John Lewis (tights, t-shirts, slippers, dressing gown, dresses)
Local independent shop for shoes.
Sainsbury's (tights and leggings)
Boden (cardigans, t-shirts, fleece)
Joules (hoodies, fleece)
M&S (trousers, socks and PJs)
H&M (pants)

I have a 2.5 year old girl and dress her mostly in next, John Lewis, Zara and gap.

My dd is just about to turn 3 and I dress her in a lot of vintage clothes. Otherwise it's a mix of Little Bird (Jools Oliver line at Mothercare which is lovely), Zara, H&M. Zara is my favourite for high street children's clothing.

My ds is 3 and I shop mainly in next, gap, Zara, and also sometimes mothercare, H&M, John Lewis and monsoon (lovely jumpers)

I like the designs for boys in next and Zara the most and gap is great for comfy basics

Mine are a bit older, at 9 and almost 6. Both girls. I don't buy much for the younger one, she mainly wears hand-me downs, so I try to buy really good quality for DD1, so the clothes last for 2 DC.

I like John Lewis, Boden (though struggled to find anything I liked this year, tbh, so tend to buy it second hand on ebay), H&M for plain basics and for outerwear, (but you have to wade through a lot of hideous stuff imo,) Vertbaudet, Benneton, Fat Face, the odd bit in Next and M&S (mainly underwear, socks and PJ's), and I really, really like Mountain Warehouse for summer clothes (shorts and t shirts) as well as for coats. I love Sainsbury's too, but don't live near one.

Used to buy loads from Zara when DC1 was little, but have found the quality has really gone downhill massively in 9 years - though tbh you could say that about a lot of places. I liked Jojomamanbebe and Frugi when they were littler - Frugi still would fit both but maybe their designs are a bit young for my oldest now.
