Recommend me a primer

My skin is combination, leaning to the dry side. I have acne scarring and can sometimes have redness but thats not a huge issue. I use Clinique beyond perfecting foundation which is great but it does settle in fine lines on my forehead and can go a bit patchy in dry bits. What primer will I love? I've tried benefit porefessional but found it drying and patch around my nose.

I use Rimmel Fix and Perfect and find it excellent. I have large pores and fine lines and find that this stuff deals with those really well. No drying and it's really cheap, £6.99 in Boots.

Rimmel do 4 different ones, in purple, pink, blue and red tubes.

Purple is matte.

The pink one seems to mattify my skin so perhaps is for oily skin.

The red really moisturises and the blue is somewhere in between.

I think they are fab, and all about £7.

I recently started with the Becca one and it's really, really good at giving you a glow. It also seems to be really shit at helping make up stay on... so I tend to use it on its own on make up free days. It is lovely for that.

Having used Barbara Daly (Tescos) primer for years, I recently tried Revlon's Photoready primer which comes in a pump dispenser, and am really impressed at how it keeps my makeup fresh all day. (I wear Lily Lolo mineral foundation). No idea whether it would suit your skin, but I'm really pleased with it!

I'm using an armani one at the moment and it really is very good.
