Bollocks had an e-mail from Lindy bop saying there was a technical hitch with their website and I can't have my dress

peachypips · 08/12/2016 17:11

Santa - I love that dress. I really like oasis- their clothes always fit well and are made from lovely fabric.

DinosaursRoar · 08/12/2016 18:32

Silvertap - as I said, it's more 'jeans and jumpers' at PIL, so dressing it down a bit, thinking thick navy tights and I have brown knee high boots that would look good with it - which I will take off as soon as I get to PILs, and within 10 minutes will have swapped for slippers (perhaps I need to pick up some fancy slippers, do such a thing exsist?!). I have some ruby stud earrings I'll wear with it for a bit of bling.

DinosaursRoar · 08/12/2016 18:34

Santa - I really like that. Oasis seem to have have lots of lovely things at the moment.

NapQueen · 08/12/2016 18:37

I've got this dress already so I think I'll just wear this. With my slippers which don't match at all!

I'm wearing this dress from oasis with navy textured pattern tights and ankle boots. It's lovely on and not too low cut or too short.

leccybill · 08/12/2016 20:13

I really love Oasis too but lots of things are polyester and everything is about £10 dearer than it should be.

leccybill · 08/12/2016 20:16

I'm wearing this from Dorothy Perkins on Christmas Day.

fredabear · 08/12/2016 20:24

Saw this the other day so have ordered to try it

Muddlingthroughtoo · 08/12/2016 20:37

Place marking for ideas!

PetalMettle · 08/12/2016 20:42

I have no idea....not sure what we will be doing. We will be on holiday.

Dowser · 09/12/2016 09:54

Love your dress Eccles and the red polka dot one with black collar that is now out of stock.

I have some lovely clothes so if I don't go mad on this holiday I can have an excellent choice.
I have a red fitted number that has a bit of sparkle in it. I'll probably wear that with red velvet shoes.
I like to dress up for Christmas Day as well.

MyGastIsFlabbered · 09/12/2016 11:58

The OOS polka dot one is for sale on Amazon still (if you're talking about the one I linked)

MrsPear · 09/12/2016 17:21

Hi I am also channeling 1950s and wearing a red tartan frock from Lindy bop I will be the overdressed one but that is quite normal in my household - if we go out for lunch I am dress heels and bag. The others are in jeans ...

Talisin · 15/12/2016 13:42

Thanks to Eccles post, I am now the happy owner of that velvet dress in mulberry. It really is gorgeous and flattering and ridiculously cheap.Xmas Smile

tweedles1511 · 15/12/2016 15:20

Really want this this. Loose but pretty and fair trade.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 15/12/2016 16:22

ooh tweedles we shall be xmas twins Xmas Grin

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 15/12/2016 16:22

oops sorry talisin

busyboysmum · 15/12/2016 16:32

What size did you order if you are a 14? It only offers L M etc on my Amazon and I fancy it myself 😊

elfofftheshelf · 15/12/2016 16:36

This is much nicer in real-life than in the picture. It caught my eye in the shop and I bought it. It's not as nylon / sparkly as the pics. Nice soft material, easy to wear and cook in, but still looks special / a bit different.

FrickOnAStick · 15/12/2016 16:57

I bought a navy and gold mini skirt from Warehouse. Will wear with a slouchy cashmere jumper. The dress version was nice too but it was a sleeveless shift style and less versatile than the skirt.

FrickOnAStick · 15/12/2016 16:59

I wanted one of the Warner textile skirts from Oasis but they'd sold out (LE) so went for the Warehouse one instead.

Talisin · 15/12/2016 18:38

Eccles yep Xmas Grin

busy if you mean the velvet dress then go for the large at a 14.
