Looking for a comfy but nice dress to wear xmas day???

Nothing too fancy as I will be cooking, but I wanted a comfortable and nice dress to wear! Any ideas

What are you all wearing for xmas day?

Bollocks had an e-mail from Lindy bop saying there was a technical hitch with their website and I can't have my dress

Santa - I love that dress. I really like oasis- their clothes always fit well and are made from lovely fabric.

Silvertap - as I said, it's more 'jeans and jumpers' at PIL, so dressing it down a bit, thinking thick navy tights and I have brown knee high boots that would look good with it - which I will take off as soon as I get to PILs, and within 10 minutes will have swapped for slippers (perhaps I need to pick up some fancy slippers, do such a thing exsist?!). I have some ruby stud earrings I'll wear with it for a bit of bling.

Santa - I really like that. Oasis seem to have have lots of lovely things at the moment.

I've got this dress already so I think I'll just wear this. With my slippers which don't match at all!

I'm wearing this dress from oasis with navy textured pattern tights and ankle boots. It's lovely on and not too low cut or too short.

I really love Oasis too but lots of things are polyester and everything is about £10 dearer than it should be.

I'm wearing this from Dorothy Perkins on Christmas Day.

I have some lovely clothes so if I don't go mad on this holiday I can have an excellent choice.
I have a red fitted number that has a bit of sparkle in it. I'll probably wear that with red velvet shoes.
I like to dress up for Christmas Day as well.

Thanks to Eccles post, I am now the happy owner of that velvet dress in mulberry. It really is gorgeous and flattering and ridiculously cheap.

What size did you order if you are a 14? It only offers L M etc on my Amazon and I fancy it myself 😊

This is much nicer in real-life than in the picture. It caught my eye in the shop and I bought it. It's not as nylon / sparkly as the pics. Nice soft material, easy to wear and cook in, but still looks special / a bit different.

I bought a navy and gold mini skirt from Warehouse. Will wear with a slouchy cashmere jumper. The dress version was nice too but it was a sleeveless shift style and less versatile than the skirt.

I wanted one of the Warner textile skirts from Oasis but they'd sold out (LE) so went for the Warehouse one instead.
