Next 360 super skinny jeans (sorry, another skinny thread)

...anyone own a pair? My (lifetime) hunt for the perfect skinny jeans continues.

I've heard good things. I have slim legs in comparison to my waist so finding jeans that don't bag at my ankles is like the holy grail.

Reviews on the Next website are pretty good. If you have a pair, do you rate them?

I have a pair of the Slim, lift and Shape skinny jeans and they have put me off buying next jeans. They are utterly hideous. I went a size down, I should have gone 3 sizes down considering how baggy they go practically within an hour of wearing. They look like a pair of Nora Batty tights. Total waste of 45 quid.

I need some black ones but having had disastrous purchases before of black jeans that have the most revolting pungent smell (must be the dye used), can anyone tell me whether these smell ok before I order them?

Yep, I do. The smell that stays FOREVER, no matter how many times you've washed the jeans.

Ok I'm intrigued by these...! I'm 5ft 5, pear shaped, short legs... anyone like me have these? I need something to hold the thighs in??

I'm 5'8 so will order regular and long in 2 different sizes. Surely one of them will look ok........

What kind of material are they? I'm on an endless quest for skinny jeans made of something actually like denim and not thin stretchy cotton.

Plimsolls - quite deinimy! Thick enough to almost pass for the real thing...

I tried a dark indigo pair, they are indeed very good.

Think they come up quite short though - I am 5'3" and the regular length is only just ok on me.

I also bought a £19.99 grey pair from New Look as recommended upthread.

Think I'd be able to wear them to a Christmas meal (posh hotel) or are they too casual?

Well they've arrived. Good thick fabric and no revolting black jeans smell. However, should I go for the size that fits my waist but is pretty snug on my huge thighs or the bigger size that feels better in the thunderthighs but a bit big around the waist? I've been caught out many times with jeans stretching but apparently these keep their shape so I'd be better going for the larger ones and wear a belt?

Or maybe return all of them as I really don't think I have the confidence to wear skinny anything.

And I'm sure you can pull it off ;) I have massive thighs and quite chunky calves but these jeans make my legs look slimmer.

I'll keep the larger size I think as I don't feel comfortable in tight clothing. The smaller ones were OK, I could crouch down in them, but I'd be worried the seams would burst . I usually wear boyfriend, slouchy type jeans (since I got fat).

The challenge now is to find a nice top to wear with them. Not a supposedly longline one that actually ends at my saddlebags so makes me look even bigger, but one that floats and drapes to mid thigh length.

Any suggestions please?

Watching with interest! I've never found skinny jeans that suited me and my existing jeans need urgent replacement. Also waiting for any top recommendations...

Hahaha there is no way they would burst! I wear a denim shirt with my black jeans. Or a checked shirt. With boots. It makes for a nice, casual look (in my opinion).

I also recently bought these and they look great paired with the jeans!

and a maxi cardigan. Those tops come in other colours too. New Look have some great boyfriend t shirts in at the moment; I layer them with a vest in this weather.

I'm after some new jeans... My GAP favourites (I had 4 pairs) have lasted me well and have been PERFECT but they don't make them anymore. The closest options they do either don't feel right or don't have pockets. I need pockets!

Why no pockets? ??? I also need front pockets. If they haven't got front pockets then they're just glorified jeggings, aren't they?
