LRP Effaclar Duo+ vs. Paula's Choice - which is best for blocked pores/whiteheads?

Which is best for blocked pores and whiteheads etc? Also which Paula's Choice BHA - there seem to be several? TIA for any advice.

I have both and can honestly say at the moment, neither one have made much of a difference! They both have great reviews so I think consistency and perseverance is key.

I have both of them. Well I have Paula's choice 1% retinol I'm not sure which PC product you are looking at.

LRP doesn't make much difference to the blocked pores I found, though my face was more even toned. But tbh it could be because of the other products I use rather than LRP, I chuck it all on and hope something works.

The only thing that remotely makes a difference is a retinol product, ideally I'd like a retin a cream but it's not easy to get hold of and the PC retinol is not bad.

You're supposed to use salicylic acid for spots/blackheads but I can't use it it brings my face out in huge bumps so I use glycolic and retinol.

I bought the Timeless serum from America and had high hopes for it but I seem to have come out in spots

PC 2 per cent salicylic lotion (the anti-redness one in the blue tube) really cleared out my blackheads but you do need to keep using it or they come back.

Hi, for winter, a moisturiser containing SPF is probs ok. Avene or La Roche Posay.

Otherwise, La Roche Posay Antihelios SPF50 is the one recommended by the goddess Dr Sam Bunting.
