this? .

And would it go with a long black velvet skirt - or will I have to buy a decent pair of trousers?

nah, tunics ok with any nork size

if very low cut i would wear a vest top underneath to avoid gaping cleavage

can't imagine a tunic with a skirt tbh - the lines would be odd

MrsBadger · 13/02/2007 14:14

I don't think you need to be particularly big-busted but not sure it would work on the utterly flatchested due to the neckline.

It could go with a skirt but might look a bit shapeless - somehow it looks very fitted on the dummies but less so on the model.

JackieNo · 13/02/2007 14:14

Yes, fine with big norks. I think you'd get away with wearing it with a straight/pencil skirt, but trousers would probably be better.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 13/02/2007 14:17

i dont think you need big boobies to wear it although i would wear trousers with it.

SexyMadScientist · 13/02/2007 14:19

Hmm - I am a B cup so not TOTALLY flatchested I have a Huge bum (compared to tum) tho - so buying trouses that actually fit is something I was trying to avoid. It comes with a slightly less revealing cami to go underneath - so gaping cleavage shouldn't be a prob. May have to check ebay for some trousers...

It did look better on the bustier model in teh printed catelogue - hence the question.

i am also b cup and have one or two tunic tops in my wardrobe

trews should be manageable whatever your size - which shiops do you normally try? it really is worth going out and investing a couple of hours in trying loads of things on - you will find something that fits, eventually

I only normally look in BHS (or Tesco!!!). I find that I can't justify Next/Gap/M&S prices unless it is for something extra special.

Problem is my waist would fit in a 14 (easily). My bum & thighs need at least a 16/18 depending on style. I used to shop in DP but less so these days.

For trousers that is...

Whistling quietly

You could try a wide leg trouser and perhaps a nice belt around the lower waist area to emphasise it.

fashionsista · 13/02/2007 16:24

What's the deal with DP. Their range is being featured all over the mags and TV this season.
