Please help me decide on best style (pics)

I need advice and help with my hair. I can't decide which style suits me best.
Pic 1 is of a style I had at a local salon, which I liked, but preferred it when grown out so a bit longer then in the photo.

Pic 2 was just after I'd been to a so called top London salon and it looked a frizzy mess (IMHO).

Pic 3 was above style a few days later styled by me and tonged.

Pics 4 (next post) was earlier this year when I last had it longer (but got bored and cut it off).

Hair is naturally thick and wavy.

What should I do, which style do you think looks best? I'd like to grow my hair again but when I do it always feels mumsy and boring.

I like both 1 and 4. 3 is ok. 2 not good

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 04/11/2016 22:38

I'd say number 1. Stylish sophisticated feminine and looks easy to maintain.

Getmoving · 04/11/2016 22:40

Numero 1.

SimonLeBonOnAndOn · 04/11/2016 22:44

I like 2 the best, looks really full and bouncy

Your hair looks like Meg Ryan's hair, how about trying one of her styles

I love number three :)

Fruitellaz · 05/11/2016 06:49

3 and 4 look great but mostly 3.

GizmoFrisby · 05/11/2016 07:04

Either 1 or 4

  1. Most modern and edgy. 1 is nice but a bit dated.

I love the colour by the way, don't change that!

Also I have similar length hair, some days it is curly and sometimes straighter. It is nice to be able to have option. I think 1 would be difficult to style in different ways.

Fairylea · 05/11/2016 07:38

1 looks best to me but I think I am swayed by the condition of your hair - it looks so shiny and healthy in 1.

burnishedsilver · 05/11/2016 08:18

4

Number 4 by far the nicest #3 looks good too.

What's brilliant for hair like yours is the BabyBliss Big Hair rolling hair brush/dryer. I have it a couple of years now, and if you dry your hair a bit, then do it with this, it looks really sleek and smooth, but still has the body.
The highest speed/setting is hard to manage as it spins too fast and longer hair gets stuck in it really easy, but the second setting down is fine. You would get the sort of hair from Pic 1 then.
Then if you want the tousled look just put some mousse in and scrunch dry it.

3 is my favourite with 4 a close second.

1 is just a bit style-less and 2 just no!

FlopIsMyParentingGuru · 08/11/2016 13:23

Number 3

toffeeboffin · 08/11/2016 16:00

1 and 4.

Looks healthy and in good condition.

FeliciaJollygoodfellow · 08/11/2016 16:22

1 is nice but a bit old lady from the side (sorry!) and I'm pretty certain you're not an old lady!

I like 3 and 4, and I would personally go for the one that is easiest to maintain.
