Cleanser?

Hello, I need to buy a new cleanser. I'm in my twenties, have very oily skin and acne, but also my skin is quite sensitive and in the winter months I sometimes get eczema on it. I would prefer the cleanser to be from a company that does not test on animals (anywhere, including China).

I've used a Soap and Glory one in the past that was alright but nothing special, and I used the Chamomile oil one from The Body Shop that people used to rave about on here and found that it made my acne worse. So I'm a bit stuck and not sure what to try.

Have you tried the Ren evercalm range? They also do a clarifying cleanser for acne prone skin. Both are quite gentle. Not sure on the ethical credentials though.
La Roche posay is also worth a look.

I've got exactly the same skin type and I swear by the body shop seaweed range. Or the simple cleansing wash.
Tbh though I've found the less I do with my skin the better it is. I just tend to wash with water now! (I'm 29 btw)

These are my two go two cleansers and I've suffered with acne.

Id recommend La Roche posay effaclar duo moisturiser.

I used to use the Seaweed moisturiser from The Body Shop and whilst it was a good moisturiser the smell was awful! Does the cleanser smell like that too? I think that would put me off it if so.

Will definitely look at the B. one from Superdrug as I know all of Superdrug's rangers are cruelty free and I'm using the B. micellar water as a makeup remover and have used their face wipes to remove makeup before too when travelling and have found them both to be good.

I've used Simple in the past before and found it good too but I'm unsure about whether they are a cruelty-free company or not.

Liz Earle. I have very oily spot prone skin. It's fab. I've been using it for years and years. When I fancy a change of cleanser I always regret it.

The b. cleanser is great, I've tried loads of cleansers high street to high end ones and this probably one of the best I've tried and one I always have a back up off! It's gentle on the skin, but removes everything and doesn't dry out my skin - which I find a lot of cleansers do.

I have skin which is combination but dehydrated but I get awful cystic spots and other blemishes

I use the Vitamin C cleansing oil from superfacialist (boots), Avene face wash (just that in the morning) nip+fab pads then the LRP effaclar duo and an avene anti spot moisturiser

It's definitely helping. The nip+fan pads have really helped the dehydration and resulting bunged up pores

I used to use a lovely balance me cleanser - the foaming one. You can get it in waitrose. It's lovely and perfect for oily skin.
