She doesn't wear pastels, and she is hard on shoes. I'd like the most expensive looking ones.

Yes, it has the Velcro strip at the top. It's doesn't happen everyday but enough to annoy me.

That is annoying snow. I have a pair of boots myself that the zip comes undone and I was just thinking I will bin them rather than go through another winter of constantly pulling up the zip.

I returned DD's today. They were a nice colour but far too wide. I will get her another pair of DMs instead as they are higher and I prefer them overall.

DD's fitted fine - she's had them before so I knew what to expect. Her feet are quite narrow so there's a bit of space to wear extra socks if needed when it's cold. I love them (so does she thankfully!)
