Where can I get a swimsuit with LEGS, anyone?

I mean actual legs, old-fashioned 20s-style, like these ?

If not, then boy-shorts-style would do, but even that seems hard to find, especially as part of a one-piece. Boden has some but they all have halter-neck tops which look crap on me.

Does anyone know of a super-retro cossie shop?

Saw a link to a Miss Mary of Sweden and thought No we are not ready for that yet.

I hate swim suits and worrying about trimming my sideburns , so I might get something along thses lines for my hols, I was going to go for a shorts and tankini set safety pinned together in the middle .

snowleopard · 11/02/2007 00:20

Oh yes there's that as well. Tucking in the danglers, it would be great not to have to think about that.

As a fellow long-bodied (and flabby-tummed) woman who has tried all sorts of swimsuits, I have to waen you that most of these swimsuits will still climb up your bum. A long length swimsuit is your best bet, and BHS are the only ones I know that do them all year round. They even do stomach-retaining ones!

I like the shorts swimsuits, though, for the mercy they show the fanjo - mno need to suffer razor burn! The size range on the Beachqueen one suggests that it night be immmune to crack-creep.

I don't actually mind crack-creep so much if there are legs to prevent the creep resulting in my whole arse being on display. But long-bodied also sounds like a good thing to try. Long-bodied, plus legs, plus fantastic stylish retro print - that's my dream.

I have one of those leg costumes. Wouldnt go swimming without it. Those 3 inches down my legs cover up so much.

AitchTwoOh · 11/02/2007 13:18

i've got a long body and short legs (we call it Gary Barlow Syndrome) - is that true about BHS? do they really stock the long leg ones all the time?

PrettyCandles · 11/02/2007 15:55

No, they don't stock the long legs but the long bodies.
