Hi. I'm looking for two items to go with a dress I already have, to make it suitable for a spring wedding.

Some sort of jacket, in either chocolate, dusty pink or a deep burgundy: I like the shape of this one:
www.marksandspencer.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=5930&Product_Id=2312937
Has anybody seen anything similar in those colours?

And some chocolate or deep burgundy wedge shoes. I like these:

but think they are not quite funky enough. Some wedge Mary Janes would be great.

Any help much appreciated!

If the links don't work, they are the Per Una wedge heel shoes and the Autograph oversized collar jacket. Thanks!

Bump. Pretty please? Or must I shuffle off, destined to be unstylish forever?

Not quite what you're after, (not wedges) but you don't fancy these do you? What's the dress like?

JackieNo · 09/02/2007 15:51

Or these ?

JackieNo · 09/02/2007 15:52

(they also come in red , but not really a burgundy colour).

LOVE the Monsoon ones Jackie. I'd probably cripple myself in the first pair! I'm really hoping for wedges though as the dress is a bit "floaty" (around mid calf length) and I don't want little spindly ankles and heels sticking out under it - I thought wedges would balance it better?

Can't find a pic of the dress but it's this sort of shape:

I think you're right and wedges will work

have seen a jacket that shape recently and am racking my brains as to where... are you large or small of nork? (v important for neckline)

MrsBadger · 09/02/2007 16:39

damn, it was Dorothy Perkins, and they have black, lime or orange
Not quite, eh?

janeite · 09/02/2007 16:40

Lol - thanks Mrs Badger! Am large of nork - size 12, 34DD.

Next have a cream jacket - top right here

MrsBadger · 09/02/2007 16:45

... but double-breasted may not work with norks

will keep looking

I look awful in double breasted I'm afraid. AND I look awful in cream! The lightest I can go is a sort of muted dusty pink but burgundy or choc would be better.

Have found these , but they're £89.

JackieNo · 09/02/2007 18:09

Or these (better price).

janeite · 09/02/2007 18:33

Love the 2nd ones Jackie. Do you know if they're available from any real life shops rather than on the internet? I have funny narrow little feet and usually need to try loads of pairs on before finding something that fits properly!

Ah - having googled, it appears that Emotion shoes are for wider feet - how to find a stockist here (but probably not much point if you have narrow feet).

janeite · 09/02/2007 21:47

Thanks anyway Jackie. If you or anybody else have any other suggestions, it'd be great.
