As above, put on my new shoes this morning. Have trews and leopard print jumper on, put on my new shoes, walked into the kitchen expecting compliments but no, apparently they are 'not nice at all' and they are PIRATE SHOES', and 'no no they are not right'.
Ffs, what's wrong with them? Are they pirate shoes??

They are available in the fabulous gold. Was sorely tempted to buy them too. Pah to that.... Unless you lot tell me they're great.Wink

This had made me laugh a lot.

Esp pp who suggested buying the gold and wearing them when their friends are round Grin

Olddear · 10/10/2016 12:27

I like them. Nice with opaques.

Floisme · 10/10/2016 14:50

I also think they're getting confused and that they're more Regency than pirate. To help them understand, I would accessorise with white tights and a powdered wig. And maybe have a word with their school.

I actually think they would be less Pirate/Blackadder in gold.
Having said that I really hate gold shoes

acurtis1234 · 10/10/2016 15:15

They are a ripoff of THE shoe style of the season, from Gucci. At least you didnt spend upwards of £500 to look like a pirate.

JohnCheese · 10/10/2016 15:25

Snort at educating the kids re Regency vs pirate. I might threaten the kids with white tights and the shoes yet.

Blackadder!Grin

A slight pilgrim look to them maybe? Quite like the pilgrim shoe thing. Modernised (as the pilgrims might have said), obv.
They might do for Halloween??

Thanks for the thumbs up from the likers. However I'm firmly secured to the fence atm. Arrr.

Check me out, being all up to date with my designer dupes. All I saw was the comfy low heel and 'nice' shoe.

I wonder do the fashionistas realise they look like pirates?

Silly me. Only £455 not £500+. Bargain.

Fashionistas don't care what or who they look like, they will wear whatever is in fashion. Emperors new clothes innit.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 10/10/2016 15:50

Keep 'em John, I like them.

GypsyFl0ss · 10/10/2016 16:12

By god those Gucci ones are grim.

BunnyBunnyMooseMoose · 10/10/2016 16:56

Totally pirate. I love them!

JohnCheese · 10/10/2016 22:25

Tried 'em again. I still like them. Buckle's a bit gaudy but I reckon they'll do for walking whatever plank is in my path. I'm a-keeping them. Arr. TonightConfused
