Foxy Eumovate is a steroid cream and shouldn't be put on your face

I HOPE you mean Eumobase!

decafskinnylatte · 07/02/2007 12:04

Caudalie - again expensive but it works so well that I daren't change

Millie1 · 07/02/2007 12:10

My skin's horribly dry at the moment and I've just started using a Caudalie cream at night. Absolutely fantastic.

Have tried Decleor night creams but found them too heavy.

Daytime for under makeup, Decleor do a lovely cream called Hydrafloral although at the moment I'm using a Lancome cream which is also very nice.

The world's your oyster but it depends on your skin & budget - try and get samples and see what suits best. Happy shopping

THanks CD - yes I did mean eumobase (and I only picked up misdee for mixing the two up the other day aswell!)

alipiggie · 07/02/2007 15:52

Pangea Organics do the most wonderful Rose Day Cream, totally chemical and paraben free and it's even removing my wrinkles. It's cheaper than Dr Hauschka and more effective. I'm sure you can source it direct from Amazon.

ivelostmyboobsboohoo · 07/02/2007 15:54

i swear by Dr Hauschka rose day cream. its so soft and rich and completely natural. its a bit pricy but you only dad it on and press into your skin so you dont use much at a time. (£16 a tube but lasts eons)

swifterella · 07/02/2007 15:55

oooh i like clarins intensive day moisturiser, but is bloomin expensive and i still have a dry patch on me forehead so actually it might not be that good after all

GameGirly · 07/02/2007 15:55

NadineBaggott, where are you when we need you?! I'm sure she'd recommend something with pentapeptides ...

(Actually, I'm using the Olay one and for once in my life don't have any spots so it gets my votes, peculiar ingredients or not).

DarrellRivers · 07/02/2007 15:56

Darphin products are marvellous but pricey, see spacenk website

MrsMills · 07/02/2007 15:57

I had a similar skin type after both ds's and swore by Kiehls anti-oxidant skin preserver. Had to stop using it when skin returned to normal as it's quite intense, but it was sooo lovely.

Swizzler · 07/02/2007 15:57

Neal's Yard rose facial oil. Smells lovely, works, doesn't irritate the skin and lasts for ages

CountessDracula · 07/02/2007 23:02

oh nadinebaggot

I PMSL when you came on the telly last night (i didn't know who you were!)

Dh thought I was MOST odd

DimpledThighs · 07/02/2007 23:50

elizabeth arden 18hour cream for small dry patches

oil of olay for all over face

crystalpony · 07/02/2007 23:59

Origins, Dermalogica and Lush (if only to smell fantastic!!). Am at beauty school at the mo have been told NEVER EVER EVER put petroleum jelly on your skin. (can't say about the lotions etc as I don't know how much petroleum they contain) Because it's a barrier and clogs the skin and stops the skin from shedding as it should. However and then again, it is a great barrier in cold winds etc, but never confuse it with a moisturiser it is anything but. (I know how touchy it can get round here so please no backlash, this is what we've been taught

amidaiwish · 08/02/2007 00:16

Guinot ones are fantastic, but can be £75! book yourself a guinot hydrodermie facial and she will tell you the moisturiser you need. my skin was terribly dry and became sensitive post baby. This sorted me out!

pianist · 08/02/2007 02:09

Definitely recommend Liz Earle. It's around £10 and a great product.

Honeymum · 09/02/2007 22:24

Weleda is good - lots of choice, natural bits and bobs. I have the rose and iris moisturisers. Rose is for dry skin and iris is skin-balancing (ie for shiny faces!!). Cheap too - I think it's about £8 for the moisturiser but they do a wide range of stuff.

Finbar · 09/02/2007 22:31

Another vote for anything by Caudalie.
No nasty ingredients and preservatives adn not tested on animals and is generally fab. Highly reccommend the foaming face wash - really gentle.

Dr Hauschka is expensive, but lasts an absolute age.
