So, I bought those 5 pocket M&S jeggings that everyone on here raved about

... and I can understand why! They're fab. loads of stretch, very soft and really flattering (as jeggings go). I am really pleased! Just hoping they don't sag as the day goes on. I sized down, as advised, and tried on in store as they vary from item to item.

I used to swear by these, until I discovered the Sainsburys TU ones. £14 and AMAZING (I stock up when the 25% off is on!)

WellTidy · 28/09/2016 18:35

I bought standard length and I am 5 foot 1. The short are too short.

I am a size 12 everywhere in skirts and trousers and jeans, but I bought a 10 in dark blue and in black and they're a good fit on me. I need a 12 in the m and s pull on jeggings.

I hope the 'discontinued' rumour is just scare-mongering - all my jeans are 5 pocket jeggings. However I did recently buy the grey Tu version as they didn't have my size in M&S and I must say... I still prefer M&S. They come up a bit higher on the waist and just generally stay put better than the Tu version.

Meant to say, I buy 12 Long but have to try them on in store as each and very pair fits differently.

GinIsIn · 28/09/2016 20:24

I bloody love them- I used to wear Topshop Joni jeans, at £40 a go and the M&S jeggings are nigh on identical!

thefinestwines · 28/09/2016 20:34

I wouldn't say it's scaremongering, it's what I was told by customer services.

However, I've just been to the Oxford Street store and there are plenty to go around - as I suspected, they've been rebranded as 'Super Skinny' and don't say Jeggings, but they're exaxtly the same. Good news - I was really miffed at the prospect of having to find a new holy grail of jeans! Grin

Vicliz24 · 28/09/2016 20:37

Definitely rebranded I work there

987flowers · 28/09/2016 20:50

Phew glad they are still around, I've got them in loads of different colours!

CremeDeSudo · 05/10/2016 11:17

Well I collected a black pair and standard denim yesterday - wearing the black today and very pleased! Stretchy! Grin I'm a 14-16 on bottom and have gone for the 14. They fit really well and are very comfy. Bit on the short side - I only have little legs despite being 5,7 and usually fit regular length to be fine. I wanted ankle grazers though so it's worked out well. Will try the blue ones tomorrow. Interestly, despite ordering from the same page and just chaging the colour, the black pair say 'jeggings' and the blue pair say 'always skinny'!

wowfudge · 05/10/2016 11:22

I ordered online for collection in store and the different colours have different name labels on them. I kept the smaller ones - the black are stretchier than the indigo mix.

Pisssssedofff · 05/10/2016 13:18

The French connection ones are amazing but quite a price difference

DavetheCat2001 · 05/10/2016 14:11

I've just ordered a black pair online after reading this too!

PikachuSayBoo · 05/10/2016 14:17

Mmmm, there's a lot of reviews saying the fit isn't as good since the rebrand.

CremeDeSudo · 07/10/2016 10:45

The other pair are going back! Too tight round the legs - could only just pull them on and once they were on I really struggled getting them back off over my heel!

DubiousCredentials · 07/10/2016 10:52

I bought three pairs - indigo mix are fab, good fit and no saggy knees. Medium indigo are crap, they fit nicely but I have had them on since 7am and they are very baggy on the knee and look stupid with boots now. I also have black, again they fit nicely but I haven't worn them yet.

I have had the baggy knees problem with these before and swore I would wear them round the house for a while before removing the tags. But I forgot. Grrrr.
