Hi everyone!

DD has announced she would like to wear concealer. She has the odd spot on her nose but nothing awful. We have just talked about tinted moisturiser, concealers and skin care.

What have other done? I am not averse to it but do not want to make any spots worse. It is also an opportunity to talk about skin care generally.

My Mum never spoke about this to me so I have never really followed a regime.

Thanks in advance

I'd be stuffed if I didn't shave above my knee, as my pubes get nearer to my knees, the older I getHmm.
DD(11) is beautifully blonde ( unlike me, the gorilla) and I did say, don't shave your legs until you really have to. But they never listen and she shaved, now she complains that she has to keep shaving them, otherwise they poke through her tightsGrin

Thanks for suggestions!

We went to No 7 today and she has bought a concealer stick ( which also has an ingredient to tackle the blemish) this was matched to her skin tone and something similar to the YSL touché eclat ( but much more reasonably priced!). The assistant explained and demonstrated how to use it on her skin and afterwards we had a chat about removing it before bed etc. It looked lovely and not over done, she even bought a skin toned lipstick as it was on 3 for 2.

Thanks for the replies. I will consider Clinique if there is any problem with her skin when she uses no7. We talked about when she is older getting a free make over which different make up places!

The free Bobbi Brown teen makeup lesson is fab- they really focus on skincare and use very subtle barely there makeup and most importantly teach good techniques eg blending etc. There was no hard sell at ours (though we did buy a couple of bits!) and a wonderful experience

Thanks homebythesea I had mentioned Bobbi Brown to her and
I think we will go there too. I may wait a year or two though!
