Fringe or not when you're very plain

I would prefer to grow my fringe out as I hate going to the hair dresser and can't cut it well enough to do it myself all the time. DH prefers me with a fringe but that's not the number one concern. However, I'm really plain and not in the least bit pretty. Just seen Holly on this morning with her new hair cut and I'm liking her side fringe, but she's pretty.

OP, please consider counselling. You're probably not as plain as you think - the tone of your posts is of someone whose self-esteem is in tatters, and that's affecting how you see yourself. And, as liii said, a lot of quite ordinary, plain-looking people look amazing with a decent haircut and wardrobe.

I've never thought of myself as attractive, and I've no idea whether I am. (My mum definitely thought otherwise Angry). But I make sure I take decent-ish care of my care and try to have well-fitting clothes I feel confident in, and as a result, I feel good. My actual looks sort of fade in importance, iyswim.

Please take care of yourself Flowers

I have been quite poorly lately and a consultant read between the lines and referred me for counselling. Saw a lovely lady but they don't offer the service so while I've seen her twice and I trusted her it probably won't come to anything. My GP has been told and he is referring me to someone else. I'm fretting a bit in case I can't gel with them.

Going to get my fringe done properly soon.

Thanks again. Flowers.
