What is best moisturising shampoo which is SLS free, paraben free, silicone free....

Bit of a tall order!

I've been CO washing for 3 years, and it's no longer working for me. Currently using Boots Botanics intensely hydrating shampoo since a few days ago, and hair feels far happier, but wondered if there are any others you'd recommend? Still using cone free conditioner, pure Argan oil too.

Must be free from parabens, cones, preferably SLS too.

I'm using ORS monoi de Tahiti shampoo and conditioner, but I also like Say Yes to Blueberries shampoo for frizzy hair.

The Dr Organics range at Holland and Barratt is great, there are lots to choose from; I often use the vitamin e one which nourishes my hair really well.

Hair is fine (but a lot of it), frizzy, crispy, and hard to tame. Literally splits and snaps if I use straighteners even on the lowest setting. Have babyliss big hair, but it is sooo drying I rarely use it. Daily use of pure Argan oil helps a lot, also do overnight treatments too. Coconut oil when dry for frizz control.

I tried the Dr Organics shampoo, it really stripped my hair, although the conditioner is lovely.

Where do you get the Yes to range? All my shopping done by apps so rarely browse!

Faith in Nature do a huge range of shampoo, conditioner, shower gels and soaps. Free of everything!

Lush do a Co Wash bar. I haven't tried it but it might fit the bill?

Failing that, any of their shampoo bars and conditioners would probably be free of all that stuff.

Second best: Happy hair, available in Sainsbury's

I recommend Avalon Organics tea tree shampoo and conditioner. I get it from waitrose but you could try their website for other stockists. I have hair that matches your description and this product leaves my hair shiny and strong and that's even after having a baby 3 months ago

That lush coWash bar reminds me of sherbert lemons! its very good but very pricey!

I use Yes to Carrots Dry scalp formula.
It's a sister to one mentioned above, it's marketed as Free from parabens, SLS and Phthalates & Cruelty-free. The regular formula says something about moisturising dry hair and the dry scalp on has worked well for me.

Will try the Happy Hair one - too busy to sniff out Lush sadly, my daily routine is pretty prohibitive of visiting town / shops but supermarkets can be perused easily

I have hair like yours and been using Bodyshop Rainforest range which is ok. Can often get 40% off too! Never get it really shiny tho!

Pureology- strength cute is amazing! I've worked with the full Schwarzkopf, loreal expert, shu umera, kerastase, pureology, gold well and some bed head and I just love the strength cure. I've been curly girl for about 5 years I mostly use American stuff like Ouidad and jessicurl as I haven't rated anything from the uk. Pureology is next on my hit list but the shampoo above is the most moisturising I've tried

John Masters Bare

The OGX Argan Oil shampoo (I'm boots, often on offer) is SLS free and I like it a lot.

I have frizzy hair and been using Wella Elements which is zero parabens for well over a year. Bottle last ages, you don't need much and love the smell too. Hair is much softer and less frizzy/crispy since.

I second Pureology. It was very nice on my hair.

Or the Trilogy shampoos are just lush.

Aveda. Worth the price tag.

Giovanni hydrating shampoo works for me. The LUSH shampoo bars have SLS.

Has anyone managed to get shiny hair without using a conditioner with silicone in?

I have similar hair to you OP and at the moment I alternate a bit between Aveda Co-wash and Bodyshop rainforest volume shampoo.

Using some Aveda conditioner (restructuring) but not sure if it is doing the job.
