I love them and have a pair similar. I think they look great with a dress and thick tights.

They are really nice. I buy Clarkes in the sale, often with 75% off!.
Cheap boots don't last and are a poor economy.

I desperately need a new pair of boots for autumn/winter as my beloved Dune boots have pretty much worn through after a good few years of faithful service..sob!

I'll def post up a pick of them with leggings when they arrive as it's sometimes hard to imagine what a particular show will look like with different outfits.

Reporting back - comfortable, well made, basic style ok BUT black isn't black. It's black and grey nubuck. Looks totally different from the picture and definitely too casual for me. I looked at the khaki too, much more all one colour and nice but too casual for me :(
