C'mon you guys - MO'Hs new dress... (she never wears dresses)

So I bought this today (looks miles better on)

Planning to wear on Saturday night but can't decide whether to throw on a pair of killer heels or invest in some footless tights and ballet shoes.. what shall I wear... you decide!

Alternative suggestions welcome. also opinion on dress. The only thing I should mention is that it's shorter than I expected.

I never said anything bad about blondes I mreally must get on with some work.. will check back in later. If I show dp he'll just say

"yeah it's nice babe" that's his answer to everything. I could give him a choice of shoes and he still replies "yeah it's nice babe"

I would wear with round toe shoes, not black though and chunky beads or a neck scarf

Ok so my friend threw a bit of a spanner in the works last night byu saying things like..

"hmmm are you sure you want to wear a dress"

and

"I mean it'd be different if you knew what sort of place it was"

and

"You don't want to stick out like a sore thumb, do you(?)"

She knows I always tend to wear something funky but it does normally inolve jeans or trousers. I had said before yesterdays impulse buy that I was problaly wearing jeans.

Part of me feels a bit gutted as I kind of feel like she was trying to put me off in a sneaky sneaky (trying to make me doubt myself) now part of me thinks 'fuck you I'm wearing it' and the other part thinks "she's right"

I'm gonna wear it.

Also my mum then said oh I'd definitely wear it with footless black tights (argh).

I've bought some grey/silver fine fishnets and also some shoes so have no idea at the moment what to wear. Am excited to be going out somewhere I want to go though. Never go out 'for me' iykwim always for someones birthday etc

I think you should wear it with some footless tights and some flat shoes, your only 28 ffs!!

woman in River Island reckons heels and footless tights is a good look, I'm not sure.. think I'll try on a fe combinations later and see what's best. Bit pissed off with my friend though, she was being all nicey nice but felt like she was trying to plant the seed of doubt iykwim
