I'm due for my 'usual' Highlights/under colour and cut soon, and I'm also in the process of growing a style out. I am looking for style ideas. I am also considering altering the colour too!

I am short, at just under 5ft.

Any suggestions welcome! Smile

I am so sorry for not responding sooner. I have only just been able to log back on Angry.

There's some great suggestions on this thread. It's given me lots of fresh ideas, that I may not have thought about trying otherwise.

Posted too soon.......

I can actually see myself with any of those styles.

Thank you Blush (re: glasses comment). I've not had them long.

I have finer hair than you. My best ever thickening product is aveda thickening tonic. It's not cheap. 20 quid for a wee bottle. I layer it with a good light mousse and John frieda volume spray and it's bloody amazing. My hair feels fine, not sticky or heavy, but doesn't look fine. Give it a try!

Snogs 2nd photo looks like it would be lovely for you. A mid brown would make your eye colour 'pop' (hate that term but it works)

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to get some of that. Anything is worth trying!

I do like that particular photo too. (You do mean 'pop' in a nice way, don't you?)

I think the present effect is just a little harsh (but not the glasses - they're good).
I think something with a half fringe would be much softer - some lovely styles have been posted here - and I'd just have some lowlights or whatever it takes to make your hair a bit 'warmer' blonde. I wouldn't change to brown, as not sure it would suit you, plus maintenance very demanding.

Thank you for your reply. I must admit, I wasn't fully convinced about a fringe. However, I had an image of a really fine, flat fringe.
