I know, probably showing my age by using the word cool.
My nephew is 17 next month. He has all the latest stuff be it technology, clothing, music. I want to get him a couple of tops but I don't know what he would cringe at. He lives in a big city and is very label conscious, and I'd love to get him something he likes for once without having to ask! I know what styles he likes, but what brands do teenagers like now? He's "grown out of" Burberry, apparently. Thank God. I spotted him wearing Duck and Cover - are there other ones like that? Help!

lol at 'only wears'.
he wont when he has to buy his own!
he'll love primark vouchers!

Ted baker is more for girls I think.
Abercrombie is most likely the one to go for, or Diesel.
Not going to be cheap! Good luck!

janh- lol, there speaks the wisdom of a 15 yr old girl. He'd better take note !

at this thread! I'd get him an oxfam goat!

But seriously if you want to make him happy, I'd take him shopping (or make him a home-made voucher promising himn a shopping trip) so he can get exactly what he wants. At that age, though I may not have been wearing designer clothes, I remember being very specific indeed about what I liked and there might be a particular thing he wants, which you'd never be able to second-guess.

Easiest place to find Abercrombie is ebay but it's still dear (you could buy him a flight to NY to shop there instead )

These are like DS1's, his were $20 in a discount store . (LOL at "each pair is individually scarred by A&F for that 'individual' look" - you can imagine Mr A and Mr F standing over each pair with knives and sandpaper)

ggirl, DS2's only 13 so I won't tell him, he'll grow out of it soon enough

go to asos..lots of trendy stuff on there for men.

My younger brother assures me Boxfresh for casual or Paul Smith for a bit smarter. However, if you filter the Ebay A&F stuff, I'd go for that myself cos the models are yummy, you can get t-shirts & stuff for around £20 so you could buy a couple & he'll think you're the kewlest auntie in town!
