If you have your hair dyed in a salon how often do you have to return and how much does it cost you?

I have dark hair and am wanting to go lighter. So am thinking re growth/roots will need regular attention. I think I will need my hair bleaching first and then a colour putting on, so does that make it more expensive?

Am just worrying I can't afford like £100 every six weeks.

I haven't been to a hairdresser in years so clueless about prices.

I have light brown mouse hair. Am greying a bit. I have highlights and lowlights. Half head, in six weeks t bar, six weeks later tbar, six weeks later half head. Always with cut and blow dry. £150 half head, £110 tbar. I think it's worth it and can afford it.

What's tbar please?

Oh, it's a t shape along the parting and across the front, ie, the bits people can see. Perfect if you don't put your hair up.

I have a brown hair, fair bit of grey coming through . I get blonde highlights about 6-8 weeks and cut and blow dry.
Longish hair and it's just gone up to £22

Half head they just highlight the hair on top rather than right the way underneath.

Thanks.
