30E-F bra size - where to shop?

After an illuminating hour and a half in a John Lewis changing room this morning (off the back of lurking on bra intervention threads on here, and trying some home measuring), I have come home with 4 new bras, size 30E, and one 30F. 3 are Freya, one (the 30F) is John Lewis. I previously thought I was a 34C/D! For the last 7 years (3 X pregnancies / breastfeeding) I've been wearing an assortment of maternity / feeding bras in a range of generic sizes (eg "medium..."). The John Lewis fitter said I was actually more like a 28 band, but this is very difficult to get.

To be honest, there wasn't much choice in 30E/F either. I have 4 OK T-shirt style bras (and my goodness, they make me look a lot better with clothes on!), but they aren't special.

I'd like to buy one or two really nice underwear sets - any ideas as to brands / shops?

I'm also still breastfeeding my almost 2 year old (definitely my last baby) - I'll probably stop in a couple of months, is my cup size likely to go down? I've only been feeding her at bedtime (and not even every bedtime) for the last 10 months, so not expecting a huge reduction in size?

And yes, even if you're down to 2/3 feeds a day, I'd give it a few months before splashing out on £££ bras. They do change - shrink initially and then eventually firm up a bit.

Thanks Pikaw, I went to a smaller branch so they probably didn't have as much in stock. I'll have a look online Smile

I am a 28f and always buy Freya bras either online or from John Lewis or house of Fraser. I have heard good things about bravissimo too. It's annoying having a small back and big cup- no high street bra is going to cut the mustard! Marks and spencer are a shocking fit

I'm a 32G and the thought of shopping for bras makes me suicidally depressed. For some years now I've been unable to find anything that is either non-hideous or comfortable, let alone both.
I guess I should get fitted, but since my vast pregnant norks were sneered at in Bravissimo back in 2007 I haven't been able to face it.
Don't get me started on swimwear.

I'm the same size (30E, although probably a 28F really, I just can never find anything I like in that size) and have struggled with this. Bras in the right size seem for the most part to be really quite boulder-holderish (IMO) whereas it's not really a big size so the wide straps/super-support isn't needed. I much preferred the more delicate bras I used to buy using the "old" measuring method pre-intervention.

I've been on a bra buying mission lately and my go-to brands are now: Simon Perele (pricey but with the odd sale bargain), B'Temptd, Stella McCartney (although they run small in the cup) and Mimi Holliday (but I find they run large in the band).

I'd definitely hold off for a few months before you spend much - I found it about a year after stopping bf before my size/shape really settled down.
