Trousers for a chubby baby?!

DS is 13 months old and currently in 18-24 months clothing (probably will go up to 24 months plus soon). He's not fat he's just got all these baby rolls on him which makes finding trousers for him to wear difficult. He currently has jogging bottoms but I would like a few "smarter" trousers for him. He can fit into jeans but he finds it difficult to crawl and walk in them. Are there any jegging/leggings for little boys you can suggest that look nice? I'm stumped

Aw embrace these chubby rolls as he'll lose them when he walks!! How about some loose fit linen trousers? I got some nice pairs for my son in h&m and next. Like this

You can roll them up a bit if they're too long.

H&m tend to be generous I've found - I think they're cut for cloth nappies so have a bit more room in them.

Baby gap are quite good for little jersey trouser-y things.

Joules do fab boys leggings, DS lived in them for six months! Worth every penny as they survived washing and tumble dryer several times a week and the elastic has only started to give a little.

Have you considered dungarees? That's what mine lived in when in nappies.

Look at brands that are cut for cloth, like frugi, they are really generous sized and gorgeous colours.

Jojomamabebe were the only non stretch trousers that could fit over my little ones rugby player thighs. They are expensive but often have multi buy offers and currently on sale so discounted.

My ds has always had chunky legs. I found joules, frugi and boden are quite wide legged and generous sized for trousers. Anything with buttons and zips didn't work, they needed to be pull ups. He mostly lives in trackies but we have had cords and smarter ones from those companies.

Polarn o pyret have some nice jeans that are really really stretchy, and M&S cords were always cut nicely. Next stuff seems v small around the thighs...or perhaps that's just for me?

I agree with dungarees - always think this is more comfortable than an elasticated waistband.

Boden trouser, joules, Zara do lovely leggings, polarn O pyret do fantastic leggings! I had a very chubby little boy now a very tall 3 yr old!

Also Toby Tiger tights (they are cut off at the feet) are lovely with great designs!

Frugi parsnip pants and great. They have a lovely wide stretchy waistband that can be folded up or down to make them last longer.
