maternity/nursing night dress

I'm looking for a maternity/nursing nightdress for hospital post c-section. All the ones i can find are HORRIFIC! Think grannytastic.
I wore some awful numbers for my last section and wanted to feel a little more glam this time (priorities - i know!)

I was wondering if anyone could help please? Thanks

You don't need one. You just need an ordinary one in a bigger size with buttons down the front that you never close again

You have lots more choice then.

Try hotmilk, they make some really lovely maternity nightwear also Cake do some really nice maternity/nursing underwhere and I think some nightwear too. There are some on ASOS but if you look on the brands website there is much more choice.

I've tried looking for non-maternity ones with buttons but they are all frumpsville! Hoping someone's seen something i haven't! M&S anyway and my limited brain means i can't think of anywhere that might stock them.

I had a look in TKmaxx the other day and they didn't really have anything either

I found a giant tshirt style nightie in primark with buttons down the front when I had dd. She armed at Christmas so it was a festive print but meh it did the job!

What about nightshirts? Tesco have some lovely ones in and you could just up a few sizes

Yeah Primark always have button ones - but sexy they are not, lol.

Peacocks do lots with buttons. The buttons are horrible though but easy to change if you can be arsed.
I have found I don't need buttons though, just a jersey scoop/v neck to pull down.

I actually found a really nice one in Tesco when I had DS in Feb. They also did pyjamas (trousers and vest top) in the same print so I got those as well.

Get some cheap button down ones. If you are like me, no amount of breast pads could contain the flow when it came in and I had to change my nightdress in the night regularly at first. Then think poo, wee and the vomit/possit. It does calm down but I did throw them out after a bit.

I have a brushed cotton button up nightshirt from tesco. Its great because it keeps my arms warm when im feeding at night.

I also love my H&Mhenley style pyjamas - really stretchy and comfortable and although not maternity fitted me through pregnancy.

Neither massively sexy though it has to be said!

I just wore a big baggy t shirt as my "nursing" nightie in hospital post section. Did the job, didn't look horrendous.

I wear Primark strappy nighties (thin jersey type material) with a stretchy crop top style bra thing underneath (mine are from Sainsburys). Enough support but stretchy enough to hoik a boob over the top when required. Easier than fiddling with buttons in the middle of the night and I don't feel too frumpy.
