Very sensitive/reactive, dehydrated skin with redness and red spots....

Ok if you have this skin type which skincare and make up products do you swear by??

Cleanser: No7 dry/very dry cream cleanser
Exfoliant: Paulas' Choice 1% BHA lotion
Serum: Hylamide anti-ageing serum
Moisturiser: Eucerin Hyluronic Booster

then Ultrasun SPF30 during the day, and sometimes Paula's Choice retinol serum, then Eucerin night cream at night.

Plus a combination of Finacea cream/ABs for the rosacea when it flares up. And lots of water.

I just had a thread about how wonderful I've found dermalogica products!
I started with a gel cleanser, gentle cream exfoliant, and intensive moisture balance. I'm now going to buy the moisture booster and the daily exfoliant (just because). Most of my redness has gone so I think my skin was just dehydrated/ stressed.

Cleanser CeRave via amazon
Moisturizer - Eucerin anti redness
Sun protection - Piz buin anti allergy 50 for face.

Cetaphil to moisturise and remove make up is the ONLY thing I swear by! It's ace.

Twobananas - I used to use Cetaphil. You should try CeraVe. It's better!

I have rosacea, have patch tested as allergic to fragrance and have dermographism on top of all of this.

Currently the least offensive routine is:
Clinique Cleansing Balm AM & PM
Clinique Mild Toner (adds hydration in my case)
Nivea Sensitive Day Cream AM & Oilatum Natural Repair Face PM.

Plus Finacea and very high dose anti-histamine.

Cerave PM is OK but Oilatum is better for my dry skin.

My skin is the best it's been in a year or so on this regime. My dermatologist would prefer that I use La Roche Posay but this seems to work for the time being.

ruby how do you remove the Clinique balm? Do you rinse or use a cloth?

Coconuts you will defo need a flannel with that one, would it surprise you if I told you I have tried it and hated it?! Lol
