I use a clarins one and it really doesn't shift those unwanted dead skin cells and when i've applied foundation you can see them (horrid dry patches) tia

i use dermalogica daily microfoliant - its very good and has won lots of beauty awards. about £25 pricey but worth the money. if not wanting to spend that much there is always good old seasalt.

The Liz Earle range has some excellent stuff - I use their moisturiser, cleanser and exfoliator. You can Google it - it's a mail order company.

I use bliss face wash (from selfridges) and a facial loofah from the body shop. Any face wash will do though. It works!!!!!!

clinique seven day scrub cream seems to be good ...

TheBlonde · 21/01/2007 16:44

Have you tried St Ives Apricot Scrub? - quite good I think

Elemis papya enzyme peel. Smells fab and works, but is expensive.

To be honest you cannot just exfoliate away patches of dry skin. Over exfoliating could be making matters worse. If you skin is very dry then you might need a really good, heavy duty night cream.
