Do I want to wear either of these dresses to a wedding?

I am going to a wedding next week. Nothing too smart and in South of France. I am a Size 16, aged 39 and very conscious of my arms and stomach. I want to dress age appropriately and not like a granny. Most of all I want to feel at ease in what I am wearing.

What do you think of these two dresses? Can you recommend anything else? Budget up to around £150. It will be too hot to wear a jacket so would prefer to go for the long sleeves option.

I found my size in the end and did get the top floral one delivered today. It looked nothing like on the website. The neck was very low indeed and the material was very creased.
Still after something that will cover my arms and possibly be nice and floaty. I like the Lindy Bop ones but they don't seem to have much in the arm covering range.

I really like the second dress in your first post. I think its striking and a bit different from your usual summer wedding wear. What sort of colouring are you?

I'm freckly with brown, blonde and auburn hair. Blue eyes and fair skin.

Thanks for your help. Thanks to someone who posted on here, I got loads of dresses to try on from ASOS (free postage and returns). Didn't look at any of the prices when I tried them on.
My favourite and the most flattering turned out to only be £14 in the sale! Here it is but it comes out far nicer than on the photo.
I got some lovely suede heels from Next and I feel so comfortable and not at all self-conscious. Ended up getting another lovely dress as well in the sale. Had never been on ASOS before but will definitely be returning!
