Do you look after your feet?

I have a thing about feet. Dry heels mainly. I am forever slathering on palmers butter all over my feet and they are pedicured fort nightly. My feet are extremely ugly so this makes me feel a bit better. I really do try to look after them. Is anyone else the same?

Footner and nail polish

I bought a Scholl Velvet Smooth from Amazon last year & my feet have never been so smooth. I also use the Soap & Glory foot cream & paint my toe nails every 2 weeks - also make sure I use base coat if I'm using a dark polish. I like my feet to look & feel good.

Podiatrist sounds great but I couldn't inflict my feet on anyone. They are so embarrassing.

I tried footner twice. Loads of skin peeled off...leaving hard skin underneath Hmm

Not so podiatrists are like sporners on here - the gnarlier the hooves are the better

I used to go to a chiropodist who used a scalpel to take my hard skin off - it was fab & my feet were amazing for weeks after.

I have pedi every 3 weeks and chiropody every couple of months.

Don't know why I'm reading this thread - I've a serious problem about feet. Can't have them near me.

I'm rocking at the idea that some would need a pen knife as part of their foot care. Seriously WHY? Why!!!!?

Judydreamsofhorses · 11/06/2016 23:52

I go to the podiatrist every month, and every Friday night do cutting toenails, filing, painting etc - regardless of the time of year. My feet are revolting, corns all over the place.

Notso eer, I'm sure a podiatrist will have seen a lot worse - it's their job to treat feet with problems, not perfect (whatever that may be) looking feet. At my one there are usually a long line of old men waiting for their monthly appointment - over 70 and there are a few medical conditions which need regular podiatry care - and your feet can't be worse than theirs.
