The hair stylist was trying to foist this on me, I was a bit Hmm, no thanks, I'll stick with my usual trim and blow dry please. It works on the model but don't think I could pull that off.

It might look quite cool on someone young with an already edgy style and great bone structure.

But on 99% of regular women it would be...

And my hair has a tendency to frizz in warmer weather which I can't seem to find a product to settle so I'd forever look like I'd just wrestled a small child.

Haha. What lilly said. There are some women this would look amazing on. I'm definitely not one of them.

P1nkP0ppy · 31/05/2016 12:35

I think it looks like the end result of someone attempting to cut their own fringe --absolutely awful but what do I know as an old fogey
😳--

burnishedsilver · 31/05/2016 12:43

Anyone who manages look amazing with that fringe would look even more amaxing without it.

HoneyDragon · 31/05/2016 12:45

I do like a micro fringe. But they are a pita.

VulcanWoman · 31/05/2016 12:48

I don't like very short fringes, reminds me of being a child and having it cut too short.

nikole1708 · 31/05/2016 13:02

I am not too keen on short fringes. I don't like it on the model either. LillyVonSchtupp's comment is on point :)

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 31/05/2016 13:09

Those fringes work on a long thin or angular face but it's quite a bold look. It would grow out quite quickly..
If you have a round, moon shaped face avoid like the plague.

CremeBrulee · 31/05/2016 13:23

My sister ended up with a fringe like that in 1976 when my mum couldn't cut it straight first time and kept going back again to neaten it up. Not a look I'd choose or pay for!

Hell no! It is a very particular look which would take immense upkeep and probably a whole new wardrobe.

swelchphr · 31/05/2016 13:58

No way! What LillyVonSchtupp said. Grin

Madbengalmum · 31/05/2016 14:01

Noooo, dont do it!

OiWithThePoodlesAlready · 31/05/2016 14:04

Some people would look amazing with that. I would not be one of them unfortunately.

Also it would stick straight up in the morning so no chance of skipping washing your hair before the school run.

Nannawifeofbaldr · 31/05/2016 14:09

Ah, that's my fringe 1980-1986

thanks Mum

DragosteaDinTei · 31/05/2016 15:02

I had a teeny little fringe like that for a few years and on reflection, it was rather unforgiving.

I imagined it to be terribly cute but, instead, it was terribly medieval and made me look like a doughball crossed with a monk. Hmm

As others have said, it can look great on someone with the right bone structure, though. The model looks lovely.

Randomposter · 31/05/2016 15:03

It's awful ( unless you're 18 & stunningly beautiful )

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 31/05/2016 15:11

The model in the pic would look good with a dead cat on her head though.

squoosh · 31/05/2016 15:22

They just about work on very beautiful people in a 'Behold, even this fugly fringe cannot diminish my beauty' kind of way.

On mortals? No.
