how do you store your bras?

So after about five years of wearing increasingly clapped-out nursing and maternity bras, I have now rebuilt a nice collection of Proper Grown Up Lady Bras (sized by bra-intervention approved method) However, due to the advent of the child-induced boob fairy I am now wearing rather more, er, substantial bras than of yore, and I also like moulding or light padding to avoid public nippliness. The end result is that my bras do not all fit in my rather small bra drawer, and I do not want them to get squashed/twisted, or to throw any of them away. clutches nice Mimi Holliday numbers to bosom

Is there a good storage approach that isn't "pile of clean bras on the floor"? Er, not that I've done that, no no...

I hang mine off the post at the end of my bed.

Will obviously have to think of somewhere else whenever we put the house on the market!

Kondo method here too. It's brilliant, I can see everything at a glance.

I'm sorry, everythingsgoingsouth, that just gets on my tits.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties I look after my bras with so much care they last for ages, but I've decided I'm better off with proper fittings. My current bras are not even that expensive (for a large norked one - c£30) but I just find it easier to have fewer.

And now I've realised the extra advantage - no need for complicated storage!

I hang mine by the strap from the neck of a hanger. They can get tangled though, but definitely better than squishing them into a drawer.

In my wardrobe * ( sorry. )

My everyday soft ones are folded in a bedside drawer.

The not worn very often bra sets are in press seal bags in a chest of drawers in the wardrobe

I only have about 6 bras - never wear one at weekends as im very flat chested and just prefer to let it all hang naturally Grin.

My bras are just scrumpled up in one of those little ikea drawer box things. I have a big one for pants, a big one for socks, a small one for bras, a small one for face muslins and a small one for swimwear. All in one drawer.

Isn't hanging them by the straps supposed to be really bad for the elastic, or have I been overly indoctrinated by my mother?

I suppose I could manage with only a few nude/black bras but I do enjoy wearing something frivolous and jaunty coloured, especially if my outerwear is fairly sombre.

Do like the idea of storing the less frequently worn ones in press seal bags, though I'm also trying to get out of the habit of keeping too much underwear (other than the more, er, boudoir numbers) for "good wear". My bra size changed completely after having kids, and then changed again when I lost weight due to illness, so I had quite a few really lovely bras that I hadn't put into my daily rotation due to being "too nice" and then never got to wear. :(
