Dermalogica / Elemis etc

I want to start using better skin products as my skin is getting drier.

Any recommendations?

A friend swears by dermalogica but elemis looks nice.

This is quite an easy choice in one way - Dermalogica doesn't smell of anything and Elemis is lovely and smelly.

I love Decleor because they use essential oils and smell is a big part of my skincare routine, I have to want to use it or I won't.

Elemis is highly scent

I love elemis. I had a wonderful elemis facial yesterday. It is ££ but if you can stretch to it I would give it a try. Decleor is lovely too but not as good imo.

Perhaps have a facial where they use those products and see how your skin feels?

You can normally get starter kits which normally have large trial sizes of best selling products .
Although companies say you should use the products together you can mix and match to get the best results for your skin.
If you've got dry skin it's worth adding an oil into your skincare routine I think both do one and a little goes a long way .

Agree it's all about whether you favour scented or unscented and whether you have ultra sensitive skin. I'd go for Elemis every time - particularly the Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm which is gorgeous. Dermalogica is good but bores me senseless.

And do give the Body Shop a go for some great mid-range skin oils.

Maybe start with adding the Decleor aromessence serum which is an oil, you use three dabs after cleansing and before moisturiser to see how you like it? Or the night balm?

I prefer skincare that don't contain artificial fragrance as my skin is hypersensitive so dermalogica for me....boring is better than reactions

Dermalogica gets really good results, and has good ingredients. I use a fair bit of Dermalogica, partly because I do some work for a Dermalogica salon, partly because its so good, but I do miss the smells of ranges like Elemis & Decleor. Certainly Dermalogica do a reasonably priced starter kit from £26.35, so you could probably trial each of them, and make a long-term decision depending on results/how much additional pleasure you get from the smell-factor!

Im not bothered about scent. So may look at dermalogica.

I get Elemis. I always buy from QVC due to the better deals and Returns policy.

Environ is amazing you need to find a stockist its not available in retail stores.

Decleor for me. My skin has never felt softer and healthier. Dermalogica is also good but I feel decleor always leaves my skin feeling more luxurious.

Elemis is also up there with decelor.

Qvc and feel unique and all beauty have good deals at the moment.

Check eBay whenever QVC have an Elemis offer on - people buy the kits and split up the items they don't want so you can usually save quite a lot off of the retail prices. Timetospa do 3 for 2 Elemis offers every so often too
