Nursing friendly wedding guest outfit - help!

Just that really. I'm going to a wedding this summer and will probably need to take bf dc. I'm drawing a complete blank
on what to wear. Everything nursing seems to also be maternity which isn't great as dc is 8 months old! So I'm thinking I need something a bit stretchy, but flattering, I can pull to the side. Has anyone seen / worn anything suitable? Thanks

Thanks cakes - what sort of thing, if you don't mind my asking? That sounds perfect but I can't find anything smart enough. It's quite a formal wedding.

When I went to a wedding whilst BFing a 6 month old, I wore a wrap dress like this with a vest underneath. Worked a charm!

I'm going to wear a floaty tunic top and leggings, I'll just pull the top up to feed.

I'm going to a wedding 2 months after My baby's due so I've been thinking about this as well. I think dress and top is the way to go. Depends on your style but coast, Ted baker and Karren Millen have some structured full skirts or pencil. You could do a button down or Jersey top that would be glam enough.

I wore a jersey maxi skirt and a stretchy wrap type top. DS was only 2 weeks old so I prob went a bit more casual than I'd have liked but I was just about hanging together. Something like one of the full midi skirts that are around at the minute would work well?

How about this with this? Top also comes in navy, this would work with either but there are plenty of lovely skirts about ATM.

I wore this dress purpless.co.uk/en/16-4400-formal-dress it's a basic one colour dress but I invested in some really nice shoes/bag/jacket and a statement necklace so it looked totally appropriate.

Then I wore it without all the other stuff for moderately smart things e.g. meals out, so got a lot of value out of it.

...BTW it totally DOESN'T look pregnancy when you wear it without a bump! It looks like a nice 50s style prom skirt with lots of fabric - I suppose you could also even put a petticoat under.

Anyway that website does several nice tops and dresses you could do this with.

I've also got a tunic like this one, which I wear with wide leg trousers and heels to smart events. It looks quite chic, the zip is a good feature with a bold, plain necklace.

I love that floral midi skirt with the zip top, lettuce. Just not sure the top is formal enough. I have to wear a hat (specified on invitation), but I may get that top anyway!
I hadn't thought outside of wearing a dress, but may be a midi skirt with top would be best. Also, are midi skirts flattering? I am very much not body confident at the moment - still losing baby weight etc, but am a size 12- 14 (14 on the bottom) right now

Yes that's the one. I found it kept the shape ok. I did find it a bit low cut and probably should have worn a vest but I didn't think of that whilst I was rushing about getting ready! ended up sticking a safety pin in it instead.

There's a Facebook group - can I breastfeed in it - that's great for inspiration. They have a sales page as well. The lindybop ophelia dress is often mentioned.
