Hi. I am going to a wedding in Denmark at the end of the month. I have found this dress which I quite like, but also I thought it is quite wearable, not just for special occasions. Do you agree? Do you like it?

I am petite, around 5.2", size 10, nearly an 8 from the waist up. Don't like showing my arms or knees so this dress will definitely reach my knees.

As for shoes, nothing delicate and dainty will suit my body shape. I would favour wedged sandals or something just as comfortable, but I will have to wear tights as my legs look pasty at the moment. Would love to hears some suggestions and opinions please.

The last two are pretty, thanks, but the lack of platform at the front sole won't work for me.
The next ones would be the best ones for me in terms of shape but I don't exactly love them. I also worry the cork might be too casual?

It looks beautiful! Just a thought but have you checked the dress code? Scandi weddings usually come with a dress code.

Definitely nude wedges or block heels
They are everywhere
Lovely dress OP

I like nude wedges from Dorothy perkins too although they still have a cork sole.

What about these ones ? Reduced in the sale too!

It's a gorgeous dress.
I'd check the dress code with the Bride, we went to a Danish wedding and it was very casual.
My Hobbs dress and fascinator , but it was 2000 were definitely a bit OTT.

Really don't like the zip. Think they're too clunky to go with the dress too.

Blackheart2016 · 01/05/2016 10:05

Those Michael Kors sandals are gorgeous.

Love that dress. Any chance of a link?

I have these Kiely shoes [[https://www.shopcade.com/product/clarks-orla-kiely-beryl-leather-platform-shoes-tan/54edde2c5edcd6e831136a36]] which I love and I think would look fab but you'd only be able to get them on eBay now...

And thanks to Ageingjuevenile, I've just bought the lovely shoes you linked to upthread Smile

Fpmd1710 · 01/05/2016 22:41

I think these are lovely, and they have them them in black if you choose to accessorise with a black bag. The dress is beautiful by the way.
(Stupid phone wouldn't let me paste link, so included photo instead)
