What age range is phase eight for do you think?

It's very stance. I see some things in there which I like, and others that would give Pruna a run for its money. But whatever I try on ages me 15 years.

I buy and take back, buy and take back. Hobbs dresses do the same.

The PP is right about Coast though.

TSSDNCOP · 12/03/2016 13:24

Stance? Strange damn you ipad.

FedUpWithJudgementalPeople · 12/03/2016 13:46

Yes I looked online and bought a dress but I feel it is aging me.

I've got a cardigan I bought there years and years ago. It's washed well, it looks great, and because of that I quite often have a look - but harldy ever buy anything.

I have some lovely things from there (am 32) and find a lot of their dresses very flattering and definitely not too old. I get a lot of compliments in them (unusual for me!). A lot of the stuff does look very old or a bit formal though. And some bits are very per una.

BabyGanoush · 12/03/2016 14:19

For me a lot of stuff there is just so flattering.

It often has nipped in waists, their dresses make me look slim.

They date very quickly though.

I was eyeing up 2 of my Phase Eight dresses for a party tonight (the sort where you wear a dress) and they are the ribbon ones, which are soooo 10 years ago Sad

I thought it was such an un-fashion brand it would not date so quickly. Classic almost.

but it has...

iyamehooru · 12/03/2016 14:32

I think it's more about what style and person than age. If you like it, look good in it and can afford it for for,it!

CreviceImp · 12/03/2016 19:23

this is the sort of thing I would get from there.

CreviceImp · 12/03/2016 19:26

this is my sort of thing too.

CreviceImp · 12/03/2016 19:29

I would wear this too.

JaceLancs · 12/03/2016 21:10

I'm 51 and not a massive fan - not enough natural fibres for me
Also some bits have more than s hint of per Una about them
I do occasionally find something in there if in the sale - recently bought a lovely linen cotton mix summer weight jumper from an outlet shop for £15

rockhopper365 · 13/03/2016 15:16

I few years ago I had loads of stuff there (was early 30's). Lots of flattering wrap day dresses and a couple of great maxi dresses. At 5'3" they were the perfect length on me.

They've since changed their styles though and I have only bought one thing there in the past 4 years, and that was a dress for a wedding. Not my usual style but was struggling to find anything I liked much at the time.

They seem to have gone very frumpy, samey, and everything is now far far too long. Such a shame Confused

Greengardenpixie · 13/03/2016 16:46

I like very little on there. I am 48 and the stuff is all a bit er vintage curtain. Lace, florals. On the odd occasion they do something that appeals but to me, not so much. I had one dress that was quite nice. A kind of mock wrap with swans. I felt like a sausage in it at the time the fault of being overweight rather than the dress so i sold it on ebay!

Greengardenpixie · 13/03/2016 16:47

It would probably fit me nicely now Grin
