Make up brush set recommendations

Hello all. DD would like a set of professional make up brushes for her birthday. I've only got £30 to spend and I have 2 weeks to get them. Would anyone please have any recommendations?

Coastal scents brushes would be a good option within your budget, they're good quality. Check online - am pretty sure my friend had hers delivered (fecked if I know where from though).

Also ecotools brushes are great - I ordered mine from iherb which was quite cheap!

Real Techniques or Makeup Revolution are my faves. E.L.F (studio, not essential) are OK too but the bristles have slowly been falling out of my blending brushes.

A truly professional set won't be possible for £30, unfortunately, a single brush can cost more than that. I think the Real Techniques Core set is great and you can add extra E.L.F or Makeup Revolution brushes.

If go real techniques too, they are great. If you shop around you can find them a lot cheaper than boots etc.
Amazon had them on a daily deal thing yesterday I think?!

Defiant has said kinda what I was trying to not say. If you can stretch the budget I would look at Sigma brushes (amazing) or Zoeva, which I've heard good things about.
The ones I recommended are good but not as good iyswim. If you can I would rather buy her one or two good brushes than a load of crappy ones.

I'd love to be able to stretch the budget, but it's not possible, unfortunately. She's turning 17 and can build up a more expensive kit gradually. This will be good starter ones when she starts college in September.

Madlizzy you won't be disappointed and I'm not a cheap skate when it comes to beauty products I use mostly Mac and Elemis etc

But these are amazing and I couldn't believe the price when I was recommended them by a make up artist.

They truely are a superb. As I said way better than some brushes I paid £40 for just 1 😡.

Morphe brushes are actually really nice - the ones I have tried so far are very similar in quality to Mac, but much cheaper.

I'd personally prefer getting single brushes over a set because a set always seems to contain brushes I'd never use.

I bought mine on BeautyBay, but I'm sure there are other places to buy them.

I love makeup revolution the I find their products good quality for a better price! I've not tried their brushes though, any reason to stay away from them?

I'm a fan of RT brushes. Can't stretch to more high end just yet.
